BlueProton DJI Phantom 3 Standard WiFi Signal Range Extender Antenna Kit by ARGtek

Ok I did a range test standard and got 2600ft I fitted this kit in less than 30 mins I then did same range test and got 4150ft I mainly bought this kit to improve video in built up areas it gave me about 35% increase in total so yes it was worth it. Then I bought an advanced and got 12045ft 😀

Not so sure this has improved the signal range after just a few flights. Will give it a thorough testing and repost when I get some time out but for now it does work perfectly well just not convinced of extra distance possible with it.

Tested this over the weekend.I live in a fairly busy part of London, and normally could only achieve about 250m around the local park, beyond that the signal fails and the drone returns.I managed 450m taking the drone over a couple of streets before it had to return.So I've seen a substantial improvement in performance.Installation was reasonably easy, though no documentation is supplied at all.

After a few disappointed first flights. I am now reaching 2000 meters. Best results at 50m hight and a slow flight out. Altering controller angle.

Was flying 100 meters before and loseing wifi signal first flight with the argtek kit and got out 1000 m before hitting RTH not once did i loose wifi or rc signal what an amazing improvment cant wait to push my drone to its limit.

I have the phantom 3standard edition and since I bought it I was experiencing problems with range of RC and Wifi signal.DJI didn't want to know so I excitedly bought this in the hope that it would fix the problem.The range with this extended antenna has not improved one bit.I can fly almost 700M away at 100m altitude in clear line of sight but that's it.I'm still very impressed by this even though it's not the range others seem to be getting but what frustrates me is that the stock antennas gave me this also.All in all a waste af money and I shall be removing it as its bulky and isn't as easy to transport.what's the point anyway?
