I'd be very grateful for the exact inside width of this. My doors are 44mm and 44.5mm thick respecdtively. Would this fit them?

The exact inside width is 43 mm (sorry!)

Hello. Is it suitable for 4.5cm thickness doors?

No, My door is 4 cm thick and its a good fit. It would be a good idea if these measurements were included on the specifications by the manufactures.

Do you have to add screws on the top of the door frame where the holes are or is it sturdy enough without?

Hello, thank you for your enquiry. The hanger hangs over the top of the door & is sturdy enough without the use of screws. Hope this helps. Kindest regards Nicola
