13 /13 mini Lens Cover

My main reason for this purchase was to have privacy. They are easy to apply. Not an item that takes a lot of abuse though. If you stuff your phone in tight places like a pants pocket I don’t think these covers will stay intact. The adhesive glue appears to be sufficient enough for general purpose use. The back camera cover does not seat against the phone. I have an IPhone 15 and the back camera cover is just adhering to the rounded lens frames only, so a small gap of about 1/16” is left above the phones surface on two corners. I have a clear case on my phone were the back camera area is open. It looks strange. The camera lens cover is elevated above the protective clear case. As for the front camera cover you have to put it on the exactly the right spot. In other words a steady hand and lining it up with that tiny camera hole is not easy! I’ve had my camera lens covers on the phone for two weeks and so far they have stayed in place even on extremely hot days. I don’t recommend these covers for any pocket carrying people! The size may not work on plus size phones. It’s a decent value for the cost.

Don’t waste your money. Main camera cover is so flimsy it broke off the third time I opened it. In the front facing camera slider just collects all kinds of dust and debris. Anytime you slip it into your pocket and the slider gets jammed up.

5/2024 Update** From my original review below this one. The seller reached out almost immediately to remedy the situation. They not only offered a refund for my purchase but offered me a new set and some tips to help them adhere better. The original tips were the same as the newly suggested ones, but this time I pressed down for about a minute once I had my placement where I wanted it. I then left my phone on a flat surface and didn’t touch it for about an hour to make sure it had time to set without the possibility of accidentally touching the newly placed covers. I then didn’t use the camera/slide the privacy cover until later the next day. So far I have had this replacement on for about two months and it has stayed in place with no issues. The slider still works great and there’s no peeling or lifting at the edges (and I toss my phone around/accidentally drop it quite a bit) The back cover is still on from the first placement in March. I’m not sure if it was being gentler with it for a longer period while it adhered, or if they had newer sets with better adhesive. Overall I am very satisfied not only with the product but also the quick and very generous way the seller took my feedback. I would highly recommend! 3/2024 Front cover fell off after a week or so. Put the second one on and it did the same. Just looked at my phone at some point and it was gone. Cool product, doesn’t last. The back cover has been fine though.

- - - Update- - - Talk off 2 stars for durability - it’s not durable at all. The front camera stopped sticking to my phone after 3 months, and the back camera cover came off completly after 6 I had to get the piece around the camera off and for something with a cover so flimsy, the sticky piece on the phone was WAY too hard to take off. Sigh… the hunt continues - - - Original 5 star Review- - - Title: Front Camera Cover is Imperfect yet Innovative - After searching for YEARS I‘ll take it! TL/DR- Back Camera Cover: 94% (A-) Functions as expected normal and was easy to install. Wish it opened flap “up” instead of “down.” TL/DR - Front Camera Cover: 87% (B+) OBSESSED. Imperfect yet Innovative. Easy and forgiving installation-stayed put even after adjusting 3 times. Sticks to my 360° privacy screen. Allows for regular phone use (taking Photos, Video Recoding, FaceID and Dynamic Island). 100% Camera obstruction when cover is closed. Clear selfies and videos in portrait orientation. Slightly covered camera corners noticeable while taking “zoomed-out” selfies in and “portrait orientation (vignetting on the right) and landscape orientation (vignetting at the top or bottom). This can be quickly “fixed” by manually adjusting the Center Stage Feature (aka: clicking the picture with the arrows around it a couple times) and/or fixing the zoom. ——Back Camera Cover Grade breakdown—— 94% A- -5% for wrong instructions -1% for open flap location Pros: -Easy to Install, even with case on (my case has an rectangular hole for the camera and flash) -Easy to open and close -Stays closed with daily activity -Protects Camera Lens & Privacy -ZERO camera issues or image distortion -Perfect fit around the camera lenses Con -Did not include instructions for installing on iPhone 17 Pro Max Camera (even though this listing is the cover for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the phone cover I received IS specific to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the packaging only hand instructions for phone covers that did not look like the one I was sent) -Flap opens “down”, I prefer “up” (functionally, I have a case with a finger loop so the open camera flap touches the loop which is annoying). ——Front Camera Cover Grade breakdown—— 87% B+ -15% NO instructions -35% Slightly Covers Corners When Taking “Zoomed-Out” Selfies (aka Wide Angle Partial image obstruction/Vignetting) -5% Prone to lint buildup around cover edges -3% NO easily visible Covered/Uncovered indicator Bonus Points: +45% Innovation (I've struggled for years to find a front-camera cover that sticks to my privacy screen; this is the first one I’ve tried one that does and STILL keeps my phone functionality the same) Front Camera Cover: Pros: -100% Coverage of Front Camera -Face ID still works, zero issues -Dynamic Island still works, zero issues. Able to tap the area even, without directly touching the screen which is pretty cool -Sticks to my 360° privacy screen & STAYS ON (this was the main selling point for me) Cons: -NO instructions or guide included (self explanatory. An iPhone 17 Pro Max specific install guide that overlayed the phone during install may even fix the obstruction issue but they never provided one for the front-camera cover) -Front cover slightly covers the corner of the cames while taking Zoomed-Out Selfies (aka the Wide Angle Partial image obstruction/Vignetting.) When looking at the camera in the portrait orientation, the obstructed is on the right. When tilted to landscape, the obstruction is at the top or bottom (depending if you tilt it left or right). -Lint buildup around cover edges (not super noticeable or terrible imo-I just clean the area with a wet wipe or alcohol pad) -NO easily visible Covered/Uncovered indicator (some slight but distinct change in color would be helpful because you can’t really tell where the circle is while you’re holding the phone unless you tilt your phone away from you) ——My Opinion on the Wide Angle Vignetting—— How this affects me? - It doesn’t lol Since this didn’t come with instructions or a guide for install, it’s possible the vignetting is caused by an install error. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. That said, I don’t take selfies with a bunch of people often so I never use the wide angle in the front camera anyway. Even if I do need a selfie with a lot of people, it’s usually a situation where I would also bring a Bluetooth tripod so I would normally just take a photo with the back camera anyway. Because the front camera cover has filled a need I’ve had for a LONG time & I and the workaround in landscape is fast and easy, I still love this cover. If the vignetting does eventually annoy me I’ll update, but if you see no update, you have your answer. I actually like the vintage feel vignette photography creates so the ability to take vignetted selfies is kinda turning this “con” into a pro. Even if this was caused by my install error, I still wanted to include this experience in my review because I know this possibility may be a deal breaker to some people. ***in conclusion*** I think if I was trying to decide to buy this product and I saw a review that said the front cover slightly covered the corner of selfies taken with wide angle zoom, without fully explaining the context, I would not have purchased this. That’s the reason why taking the time to fully explain my perspective. Because I am SO glad I took a chance on this cover. The reality is that I didn’t even notice the vignetting until I went to write this review and was pushing a bunch of buttons lol. 😅 Even if the vignetting turns out to a design flaw, if you never use the wide angle selfie feature, don’t let this “con” stop you from buying this product. ESPECIALLY if you like vintage photography! Yes, it’s still is a flaw so I still hope the manufacturers fix this in the future (AND add instructions) but for what is available right now, I still LOVE these covers and I will 100% be buy it again. **tips for install while we wait for their instructions lol** - wipe your area/screen with an alcohol pad and dry with the included microfiber cloth - Turn your front camera ON and move the circle to the “covered” position before installing

These privacy covers fit the iPhone 15 pro max’s camera perfectly. However the piece that goes on the front doesn’t stick and it slides around and catches lint and fuzz easily. The front cover needs a stronger adhesive or one that won’t heat up and slide around all the time. Many times the front cover has come off in my purse and I can’t find it or it’s covered in stuff and I can’t use it anymore. I’ve purchased a number of these covers because I’ve had a stalker for almost 8 years who’s also breaking into my house when I’m not home. The police don’t believe me and I keep getting brand new phones with new Apple accounts and I don’t restore my phones from back ups and this loser gets into every one of my new phones. The hinge on the back camera cover keeps breaking. Every camera cover I’ve had—and I think this is my fifth one in a two year period—keeps breaking. The piece the hinge is made up of is too flimsy. I’m easy on my phones and I don’t even use my camera often because the cover breaks so easily. This is a nuisance. This is a great idea for people who are unfortunate enough to have a stalker in their phone, but the quality needs to improve. Next time the cover breaks, I’ll buy a phone case with a built in camera cover unless the quality improves.

I purchased these due to a privacy concern. They were easy to use. I wish they had an option to cover face id also. So I put polymer clay over mine. The back camera cover is a bit delicate though. So handle your device with care. I accidentally broke the "lid" part of the cover off since I don't have a case and am usually a bit careless with handling my phone. All carpet floors during the week, so by the weekend when I leave the house, dropping my phone does damage lol. Usually you find covers for laptop webcams, but privacy covers for mobile cameras - I was unfamiliar with them. I'm glad that they created these, because it helps so much as a woman who likes using her camera for different things. A simple hair day, when placing my phone in the shower dock to watch a show in the meantime, it's nice to not have to wonder if I'm being watched. The world is different now, with all of the new technology. All sorts of people can hack and watch, unbeknownst to us. So it comes in handy. But with how interesting things are now, all these people learning about "astral projection" etc, and potential technology that may not be visible to the naked eye, at least this protects us from those who don't practice that or have access to that type of technology.

Love the concept of the privacy aspect of it. But the front cover didn’t stick properly came off a couple day’s later. Further, the back cover was flimsy and broke off a week later when I pulled my phone out of my purse. Lastly, the price is extremely expensive for the tel pack and I am pretty sure the current one want hold up much longer.

Works well enough. The back camera cover lasted me 18 months before the plastic hinge broke (good thing it comes with 2)—the front camera cover loses its hold and falls off after a month or two but I don’t think it could be designed/made any better if I’m being honest.

No pega bien

Awesome addition to any phone. Good quality and easy install

Funktioniert gut.

The front stick-on camera cover is flimsy and collects a lot of dust and hair. The back is stable currently, but I worry it may break easily because the hinge is quite thin. This took a while to arrive; it was so late that I thought the charge for it was fraudulent, as I’d assumed I had already been charged for it! It’s doing an okay job currently, but I wish I went with a simple laptop camera cover. I do like that it came with two though.
