These were really nice and fresh and soft. Great flavor and I shared them with my dog. She never says no. Nice single serve size. Buy them you will not be dissapointed

Great Everyday Meat Snack With a Smoky Flavor (But a Bit Saltier Than Expected) I’ve tried a lot of meat sticks over the years as quick grab-and-go snacks, and these ended up being a solid option overall. The flavor reminds me of an old-school smoked sausage—mild, smoky, and savory without being overly spicy. They have a slightly firmer, drier texture than soft refrigerated sausage sticks, which I actually prefer because they travel well and don’t feel greasy. What I liked most is how convenient these are. I’ve been tossing a few into my bag for quick snacks between meals, after workouts, or when I want something more filling than chips or crackers. The protein content makes them surprisingly satisfying, and if you are trying to eat lower carb, these fit nicely into that type of routine. Flavor-wise, I enjoyed the traditional “hunter’s sausage” taste. It has that smoky, slightly tangy cured-meat flavor that feels more substantial than a typical slim meat stick. They also seem fresher than some bargain brands I’ve tried that can taste overly processed or artificial. A couple things to keep in mind: these are on the salty side, which is pretty typical for preserved meat snacks, but something to be aware of if you are sensitive to sodium. Also, the texture is firmer and drier than softer snack sticks, so if you prefer juicy, tender jerky-style snacks, these may not be your favorite. Bottom line: A tasty, protein-packed snack that works well for road trips, work bags, quick lunches, or an in-between-meal bite. I enjoyed the smoky flavor and convenience, but the saltiness keeps it at a solid 4-star product for me.

Much better than Chompies or Paleovalley. Texture and flavor is like eating real sausage. Price is good.

Has a mildly wierd taste

Husband really enjoyed them for hunting season and the remainder on a road trip. I had several brands and flavors for him so he wouldn't get bored and he said this was one of his favorites. This coming from a man who makes his own different flavored jerky from venison as well.

I enjoy the subtle flavor of these Tillamook Country Smoker Hunter's Sausage sticks and they make for a great snack. While I enjoy the taste of spicy flavors my insides do not but I don't have any issue with these. I appreciate that they aren't individually wrapped so not wasting more plastic. In addition the 36 count package is more than most others for a good price. These were the third brand I tried and the first I actually liked taste wise. I could probably eat the entire package in 1 or 2 sittings but I make an effort to only grab 1 or 2 at a time to make them last a bit longer. I have bought multiple packages and the quality and flavor seems to be consistent. I do take them out of the package and put them into a glass jar with lid and store them in the frig which works well for me.

My husband refuses hot meals for his lunch while at work, so over the years we have been “experimenting” and trying new combinations of things to substitute. For a while, we were getting the Jack Links beef sticks and the flat beef strips from the same brand. He said they are unpredictable and he ends up spitting them out or giving them to the neighbors dog. The packaging would also sometimes come inflated¿ which is a sign of gasses or something spoiling so….we have two boxes of jack links just sitting in our pantry. So I decided to try a different brand¡ hence my presence here. I absolutely love tillamook cheese so, I was pleasantly impressed to see they had a beef sticks. So I got them, husband approves. Although, he said they have a weird herbal flavor, but he said it reminded him of a summer sausage, and wants me to continue to get these until he finds something wrong with it lol
