Question: how do you clean this?
I'm always happy to review a great product and this pendant is one of those. I was very skeptical before buying it, I was considering ordering something similar, already assembled, from another seller for around 40 pounds, but I thought I'd give this one a try - and I don't regret it. There are a few things that I think help with the assembly. First, it's important to bend the wings of each piece properly, so that they stay at around 90 degrees. That way they won't be coming out as soon as you insert them into the slots. Otherwise the pressure will make them pop out because the plastic is quite thick. I only had one wing pop out during the whole process. Also, it's not convenient to assemble it the way they do it in the video. I held the central cylinder in my lap with one hand inside to steady it, and then it was easy to insert each piece into the slots with the other hand. You have to use a little pressure but the plastic is sturdy enough. It only gets a bit tricky around the 5th level because it's harder to hold the cylinder, but I still managed pretty well. The whole pendant is absolutely worth the money and a little hassle - but I gotta say that if you have 2 hours to kill, just do it as a relaxing activity. Some reviewers found it frustrating to put together, it wasn't my experience at all. If all the pieces are cut properly, this is a great puzzle to play with. I love the off-white color and the fact that you don't leave fingerprints anywhere, which I was kind of expecting, so that was a nice surprise. I do find this pendant quite ingenious, to be honest, whoever had the idea to create this was on to something. If I could make a suggestion on what to improve, I'd say it requires something to make sure it doesn't burst open. It didn't happen for me (can't guarantee it won't happen later) but I can see how it would for others as there isn't anything keeping it closed. Perhaps some 'buttons' could be added or something sticky to hold it together. That would probably make the whole assembly process easier too, if people didn't have to worry about it being flimsy and exploding in their hands. All in all, though: 5 stars out of 5. I absolutely love the look of it, it's just as gorgeous as you would imagine looking at the Amazon pictures. If you're in the UK, you'll need a reducer ring for ceiling lights because the hole in the pendant is too big, but there are plenty to choose from on Amazon for a few quid.

Lovely light, very pleased
Very happy with this lampshade for my daughter’s bedroom. Looks very nice and lets though good amount of light. I assembled it wrong originally - YouTube helped. I found it quite easy to assemble, feeding my hand through the tube whilst slotting the petals in place with the other hand. Like other reviews mention, I needed a reducer ring to put it up as the hole was too big for UK standard light fitting (bough on Amazon £3.50 for 2 so no big deal). Great price for a nice lampshade.

The 5* reviews are correct, as are the 1* reviews
Depending on how far you get, you'll either be very please with the final result, or heave it into the bin as frustrating waste of time. I was something like 30 seconds from falling into the waste of time camp * the instructions for assembling the central tube are insufficient - it needs a better diagram * it *isn't* a puzzle - that's just a very clever framing - it's a test of dexterity. If you don't have good motor control and patience, don't bother. I have yet to understand what I did right to actually allow the central part to fix together * take note of the requirement for an E27 fitting. The pack should include an adaptor for bayonet fittings, I don't care whether it states this in the description or not. * I think "flimsy* is inaccurate, at least for the one I received. If you interlock the central tube correctly it's strong enough * A bit disappointing that the bulb is unshaded and visible from below, then again it's around £8,500 cheaper than a Poulsen Artichoke Overall for me it was satisfying to finish it and the result looks pretty good. I can understand someone having a very different opinion.

Fab lights, well worth constructing
I wanted some retro lights for my 70s house and these didn’t disappoint ! Now these were a bit of a krypton factor puzzle to put together ( showing my age) I had 3 to put together - believe me.. read the instructions and watch the instruction video on here in the description photos!! Once I’d mastered the the making of the « tube » it was relatively plain sailing. But may be trickier for those with fine motor skill difficulties. Although it feels a bit flimsy to begin with, once built the light shade is far sturdier. The finished article is actually quite beautiful. Retro looking, great petal/flower shape. Great size and gives off loads of light. They also look far more expensive once installed. It’s worth noting that you must use led bulbs. We also had to slightly trim the lamp adapter to fit my pendants, but mine were larger than standard anyway. Very pleased with them

Lovely Light Shade
Nice shade once put together. Pure white and made from strong flexible plastic. I didn't find it difficult to put together - it's very straightforward as all the parts which have to be located are marked by their numbers. The most fiddly part is making the tube at the beginning - the tabs connect with each other inwards so that no tabs project outwards after the tube is made. A little patience is needed and having one hand inside the tube as you do it does help. After this I added the internal mounting part which clicks into the horizontal holes. A quicker resumé would be: 1.push out slots in main tube part. 2. Construct tube and insert mounting part 3. Bend petals along their pre delineated fold points. 4.Working with the tube upside down to its final position, add the petals in order of their marked number - matte finish outside of petal - petals should be facing up at this point like open cups. Two petal tabs fit in one slot so they make a continuous ring. Once made you may find you need to buy a reducer from E37 to B22 if you have a bayonet fitting on your electrical pendant. Amazon sell these. For the price these are really nice light shades and can be washed when dusty.

Beautiful looking lamp. Terrible design.
We moved into an appartment and there was singular puzzle pendant lamp hanging. I thought it looked really nice and purchased 2 to use around the apartment. Now I know why the previous owners only had one single lamp. These are impossible to put together. The worst design ever. I got to row 3 fairly quickly but couldn't get passed row 4 and there 6 rows to complete. This took me over an hour. My wife made me give up and return the product. It's a great idea but in reality it's a very poor design. Even the instructions say you need a "bit of skilfulness" to assemble. This would test the patience of a saint!!!

Beautiful and gives lots of light
Its really nice and gives lots of light. Quite easy to put together once you understand how which is slightly difficult. There are numbers matching on tube to the pieces you attach. Look for them. Apart assembly its so nice. I think I am gping to buy another one for my bedroom this time. I do recommend this lamp. Gives lots of light as well .

Hard to put together
I'm a crafty person but this still took over an hour to put together. It looks good from a distant but bit cheap and plastic up close. Good value however.

Pretty lamp shade, easy to assemble
Beautiful lamp shade, I love the shape. There's a 7-min video on YouTube (user "dd qd") that shows how to assemble the lamp and attach the petals using a slight rocking motion. I tried that and it worked perfectly. It took me about 45 mins to put both lamps together -- it's not difficult but there are a lot of pieces. I enjoyed building it, and now I have two pretty lampshades hanging in my space.

Queda muy chula pero...
En algunos comentarios he leído que es de plástico y que se ve. Pues me parece obvio.

Takes a while to put together but worth it in the end.
It's so pretty for such a small price ! The assembly instructions are not very clear. It's a good idea to read them carefully and take your time.
