Which are the best expansion sets to purchase? I have the set for $50 with squares, triangles and 2 extra large squares

I've purchased multiple sets. I couldn't pick a best or favorite. They're all awesome. The small squares seem to be the most in demand in this house but we just keep building and adding on whatever we've got left to work with. Surprisingly the car bases don't get much attention here so that's the only expansion set I wouldn't suggest you pick up next. Magnetic stick'n'stack (different brand of magnetic tiles, aka 'shape mags') is a good cheaper alternative to Magna-Tiles. The magnets are strong and they make some bigger shapes and sizes that I don't think Magna-Tiles does which can help make your structures more stable. Really, you can't go wrong with more tiles, no matter which you choose.

I'm not exactly certain what you're asking, but we were very happy with this set. The magnets are on par with the other manga- tiles items. The spacing is compatible as is the strength.
