A good water-based pomade and holds well. Washes out easily as well. Gives a medium shine, so not for the slick rocker style quiff...use royal crown wax pomade for that! Not a fan of the fruity smell, but soon disapears after application...Layrite smells better and this smell lasts, which I like, but apart from that...good stuff and a nice tin to keep your cufflinks in afterwards!!

Inhave used this pomade for a few years niw and its still my gontonhair product. My local Salon sells it and I always buy it from there when ever I get the chance. After a quick check here and with jt being clightly cheaper, I opted for ordering from Amazon. With the quick delivery and cheaper price, I opted to buy from here. This product does my hair exactly how I like, and it holds for more than one day if you dont have time for a shower every day, a quick comb through and its good to go again, so very effective in that sense. I quite like the smell to it when applying. The texture of the pomade makes it so it applies easily to your hair. I wouldn't say that it is sticky in your hair as it applies really well, but definiely need to wash your hands to remove it after applying. The product washes out of your hair fine, I have never had to re-wash my hair due tonfinding some of the product still in there. I do find in the rain it can sting a little in the eyes, but nothing a quick wipe of the eyes cant sort out. Overall, this is my go to hair product and if my hair line stays as it is, will be for a good few years yet.

A great product. No residue

I love this stuff, and although it's not cheap, it's a great product. Easy to apply, and smells lovely. Follow instructions on the tin (if you an read them that is) or check out the Dapper Dan videos for best ways to use it.

This pomade by Dapper Dan is exactly what you expect from a pomade. Easy to apply, predictable, not greasy and you can run your fingers through it without destroying your look. I have thick hair and this does the job of supporting a side parting with a light shine. The scent is a bit different to other pomades, it's hard to describe but it doesn't last long. For the price, it's excellent

Product is fine the container is dented

I've only recently gotten into styling my hair with any regularity, and originally got this on a lark after hearing George Clooney go on about being a "Dapper Dan man" in O Brother Where Art Thou. Ended up being a great purchase. It's very easy to use, perfect for styling short to medium length hair, and even has a pleasant scent. Highly recommend.

La uso ormai da tempo, ottima per capelli corti perché mantiene bene l'acconciatura senza lasciare residui, durante la giornata basta bagnarsi un po' le mani e si rimodella benissimo.. Con capelli un po' lunghi tende però a non mantenere l'acconciatura a lungo, ha inoltre un profumo veramente buono.

We all know “Dapper Dan” from O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and just like in the movie, this pomade definitely lives up to the name. And honestly, every time I use it I think, “I don’t want Fop, dang it! I’m a Dapper Dan man!” The quality is excellent, and it holds hair really well without feeling overly greasy or stiff. This is actually my fourth can of it, which should say a lot by itself. A little goes a long way, so each can lasts quite a while even with regular use. It gives a clean, styled look with a nice medium shine and keeps hair in place throughout the day without flaking up like some cheaper pomades do. Another thing I like is that it feels smooth going into the hair and washes out easier than a lot of heavy pomades I’ve tried. The scent is also pleasant without being overpowering. Pros: Excellent hold without being too stiff Medium shine looks clean and natural Lasts a long time No major greasiness or flaking Smooth and easy to apply Pleasant scent Great overall quality A little product goes a long way Fun nostalgic connection to the movie Cons: Slightly more expensive than basic pomades Medium hold may not be enough for extreme styles Can feel a little heavy if too much is used Overall, this has become one of my favorite pomades, and I’ll definitely keep buying it. Sehr angenehmer Geruch, deutlich weicher als andere Pomaden mit mittlerer Härte (vergleichbar mit Schmiere, jedoch nicht so klebrig) leicht einzuarbeiten und umzuformen, aber dennoch wetterstabil. Der angenehme, fruchtige, dennoch aber dezente Geruch ist für sich allein schon ein Kaufargument. Farbe: Orange, im Haar farblos Glanz: Mittlere Glanzstufe Tragekomfort: Sehr angenehm Rückstände an den Händen: Minimal Gleich nach der ersten Anwendung ist es meine neue Lieblingspomade geworden. Jedenfalls eine Empfehlung für Liebhaber.
