No, this item is smoke dried. We sell a brand called KRAUS which is all unsmoked. Thanks

When the instructions say "fill cup 2/3" with tea leaves, is that accurate or is it a translation error? That looks like a lot of tea.

yes it is correct but I do 1/4 and it's ok step by step: 1. yerba tea 1/4 2. put a straw with a sieve 3. pour water until it doubles pour on the walls and don't touch the straws 4. wait 5 minutes and start drinking the first sip may be dust And on my opinion this yerba pajarito its not good for me

How many could you make with the 1kg?

it depends in the size of the cup.

No, this is loose leaf tea leaves and stems chopped up small. They don't dissolve, its to be used in an infusion by steeping with water. Traditionally it is sipped through a bombilla (a metal straw with a filtered end) but can also be prepared in a caffetiere, but not like regular tea.
