JustIngredients Psyllium Husk Powder 1kg, High Fibre Supplement for Digestive Health, Gut Cleanse, Fibre Boost, and Healthy Enzyme Support

Best value for money. These psyllium husks started working straight away and I have really noticed a difference in my digestive habits, all for the better. I was drinking 2 glasses a day, but I cut it down to one and it is still really effective. Doesn't taste bad, just bland and a bit thick, but don't buy psyllium husks if that bothers you, it's not at all bad, and these are ground, which makes them easier to swallow. Very happy with my purchase and will buy from this company again when they run out.

I was a bit apprehensive at first to order this much psyllium husk powder but as long as you keep it in an air-tight container and out of sunlight or heat, it should keep for a long time. To prepare it, I use one of those screw-top fitness drink shakers. Pour some water in and add a heaping teaspoon. Close the lid, shake a few times and down it. I found out you can even safely mix diet cola in these shaker flasks. No mess! Some people might be apprehensive about a supposed "taste" but you can rest assured; you hardly taste anything at all! A great product and I would order it again.

It works like any other Psyllium husk, but for the keto bakers out there, make sure you're aware that this is oxidised. Therefore, you will have purple products once you cook with it! I quite like the purple look, I mean, I'm not going to mistake my bread buns for anyone elses in the fridge!!

Turns DARK PURPLE in baking !!! Looks very unappetizing !!! Never again !!! Very bad quality !!! On the positive side - arrived in a matter of hours.

Psyllium Husks are not a product many people know about in Britain and instead people rely on laxative products when dealing with constipation and digestive problems. Psyllium husks is a dietry fibre that helps your digestive health. Taking it every day will improve your well being and solve both constipation and diarrhea . I have read that it reduces risk of bowel cancer significantly. The main problem with this product is how to take it. It is a lose powder/grain that you can blend in drinks or food. You need roughly two dessert spoonfuls a day. Personally I blend it with a bit of water in a shaker and down it as quickly as possible. Then i rinse the cup and drink a glass of water. It is admittedly a bit like drinking wet saw dust and the longer it is in the water them more gel like it becomes. Its this swelling gel like consistency that is so good for you - it basically cleans out your intestines. Good news is that the product has no taste. Some people take it on toast or on their cereal but in my experience it is about getting it over with quickly. I quickly got used to taking it and the results are so good that I would not dream of stopping taking my daily dosis.

As a younger man I went to the toilet once a day early in the morning , as I passed 60 years old I found that I was less regular and occasionally this would result in constipation so I looked for a solution. I have been using the husks or the powder for about two years. I started using the product in the USA where it is sold as Metamucil and has an orange flavouring. I was so pleased with the results that I looked for the same thing in UK. I found the Husks on Amazon.co.uk and have been buying it ever since. Personally I prefer the husks rather than the powder, every morning I almost fill a tumbler with water, add orange cordial concentrate then add two teaspoons of Psyllium husk, I roughly stir with the spoon then use a high speed battery powered whisk to mix thoroughly and drink quickly. Since using it I have returned to the regularity of my youth and have never suffered constipation, bliss !

I bought this psyllium husk powder thinking it would be a cheaper and easier to use substitute for the psyllium husk I have been using for many months. However, while this is a good product and came well packaged, it did not have the same degree of benefit for my tendency to constipation. So I've gone back to using psyllium husk.

The contents are a very fine powder. You mix this with water, make sure it is well stirred, then swig it down. Then follow up with a glass of water. It does not taste of anything. You can add it to food, instead of drinking it. Because it swells up, I added some to porridge. It did make a very thick portion! I am trying to find out the right quantity to take each day to have the desired effect.
