Why did you choose this product over others?: Good replacement

Bought this to house our go pro whilst going underwater on holiday. It fits really well, and ensured no water go into the camera. It also fits perfectly onto our snorkelling mask also. Great price on here.

I use my camera on my motorbike to record my rides in and as you can imagine it faces all weathers and conditions and the original just wore out. This is a perfect replacement, waterproof, does not have the touch screen but that is of no use to me with biker gloves on.

Was sceptical with this purchase following reading some other reviews, but as my original and official GoPro case was cream crackered - for the price I thought I would take a punt. Very happy with this case - it might not be an official case, however having put the two side-by-side they could easily have been made in the same factory and using the same mould - This is almost identical to my official case, having had a good comparison of the two all of The small manufacturing marks share the same details and they’re in the same place. If not by the same manufacturer, this is a dam good replica! First impressions, very impressed! However, time will tell on durability and how waterproof it is?

We took it to the beach and tried to capture videos in the waves. Noticed that the GoPro has stopped working all of a sudden. Looked closer and saw water sloshing around inside the case. We had securely closed it and it failed. Video attached is of the case having been put in a bowl of water for 5 mins - you can see water inside the case. Demanding a refund, but will they pay for my GoPro!?!!

The clips on these are very tight as you have read on pretty much every other review so handle with care when unclipping. Otherwise, we used this while freediving spearfishing for a few months without problems.... until I stupidly dropped it after a particularly exhausting day. Front lens hit the edge of a rock and cracked. Whether that classes it as flimsy I don't know but I am buying the exact same product to replace the broken one. So, it definitely gets my vote overall.

This looks just like the original go pro. See image attached. The case fastens well. Fits my go pro hero 3+ without problem. To be honest I do not see the difference between the original and this one (beside logo) I got mine in case I scratch the othe one on my trip. I would but again and highly rocommended as good quality product.

The case works well with the Go pro 3+ , however below around 20m the water pressure stops the operation of the camera controls. The quality of the springs in the construction must not be up to the claimed 45m operation. The case does remain water tight to 40m even though operation fails.

Works perfect with Go Pro 4.

This case replaced another non-original case I was using which always activated the wifi on the camera when installed. I’m glad to say this case has no such issue and is doing the job perfectly.

Wow, I'm super impressed with the quality of this case. My pictures and video are just as vivid and clear with the case as they are without it. I expected it to arrive wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap but it came with it's own box packaging and everything, very nice! It's everything you would expect and more, mine included a very fine quality terry cloth to wipe smudges & fingerprints clean without scratching anything. It's extremely sturdy minus the rather thin metal loop that holds the latch in place, if you treat it right there is no doubt it'll last for a year or two however. Perfect button positioning for my Hero 4, the buttons feel sturdy, work good and look nice. It was pouring rain here when mine arrived so I got to test the water proof aspect (in wet weather) straight away and that aspect indeed also worked flawlessly. I don't snorkel or dive, no plans to take my camera under water but for anyone who does I'm sure so long as the gasket is free of hair & debris it will certainly keep a good seal. I have a strange feeling the people complaining about their case not holding a seal never made completely sure their rubber gasket was totally 100% free of debris before submerging their camera. All in all this is a great quality product, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in need of such a case. TIP: The case latch opens from the front side, just pull up gently on the latch. If you tug and pull from the back side you'll more than likely bend the metal ring that holds the latch thus destroying the waterproof seal. Be careful with the latch thingy until you get the hang of it! ;-)
