OPTISHIELD Silicone Optical Occluder

This simple device works well. I sometimes have double vision, and I have been simply closing one eye to make it single vision. However, this can get tiring after a while. I didn't want to wear a regular eyepatch because I knew it would be inconvenient switching eyes given I wear eyeglasses. Most of the patches for eyeglass wearers hook over the earpiece so would also be difficult switching. When I found this one, I knew I had to try it. It just simply hooks over the top of the glasses and is very easy to switch from one side to the other. It totally darkens the view through the eye. The only improvement I can think of would be to have it darken the view around the rim of the eyeglass, but I'm not sure how that would work. Be aware that this patch will slip off your glasses if you turn them upside down.

I've tried several patches and this one works the best. It doesn't rub on my eyelashes and you can remove it and place it back very easily.

This item did not fit my glasses (too short and too thick) and too dark for what I medically needed. When I tried to return it (unused) it was denied. I lost $20. Terrible way to do business because when purchasing items for vision, you don’t always know what will work. The design of the item is good but it was too dark for my use.

If you wear glasses and need to block one eye this is the way to go. It's soft, and fits well even when I add my clip on dark glasses - just went over the whole assembly. My right eye is getting better and I don't really need it any more but I'm going to keep it around in case I ever need it again - it's that good.

Good quality and easy to slide on to glasses. I wish it were a bit larger...most glasses these days have large lenses.

can be loose fitting, therefore, knocked off and lost too easily. I use one of those plastic spring clips often found on orchid blooms used to hold bloom on to stake, sold at Home Depot etc. Works better. No loss.

Looks Nice. I viable piece for some eye issues. I am sending it back. I would not have kept it even if I did not an alternative. I found a couple of different, similar, yet more effective, some much more effective. Way too expensive, unless you are wanting to look good ... though a lot of light is not blocked out. For my Needs ... I found, surprisingly, very inexpensive products.
