Are there any nuts in the ingredients?

The scrub is made up of medium fine particles which I believe are the broken up stones of Apricots. No nuts

Is it a powdered scrub or a paste?

It's a paste, it's really good I use it before I fake tan!

No it is not oily. It isn't really rough, in fact it feels fine on your skin. I have psoriasis, I use it most days in the shower and I'm sure it has improved my skin condition. I even use it on the hair line of my hair. Great product...
