I’m old enough to remember Molly Slip oil addertive. I worked in BMS Motor Spares while I was doing my exams and remember being told how good Molly Slip was. My current car is a 2017 VW Golf 1600 Diesel turbo with 80000 miles on the clock. I thought I’d give this oil treatment a try. I’m amazed at it. I haven’t changed anything else on the car but it’s running cooler, quieter and smoother and my mpg have gone from 46 mpg to 52 mpg. Great stuff well recommended!

Pretty good - I'd seen some videos and decided to give it a go - added to diesel and instantly made the engine run more smoothly and quietly. Will need to give it some time to see if the fuel economy improves. 1 can did 2 cars (150ml each) or 5% of your engine oil capacity (i.e. if your capacity is 4L engine oil - 4000ml , 5% of that is 200ml, so slightly below 5% each)

Brilliant additive, always use on my home service, for the money it makes sense. I used Molislip years ago when I used to rebuild motorcross engines, so if you’ve ever had this product on your fingers you’ll understand the lubricating abilities it has

Got to give it a go , engines are expensive . This stuff does quieten the engine , that much was true for me . As to protection for the future , only time knows that . Cheap enough to give it a go .

Good product seems to have made fuel efficiently better and has smoothed the engine out. Was smooth anyway but seems to improved more. Would use again every oil change, for the money it’s silky not too.

Has definitely quietened my engine and made things a bit smoother. Cannot speak to fuel economy but the additive seems to be of high quality. Engine is quieter in cold start

I've used moly slip since the mid 60s, when I used to race a 850cc mini, everyone in the club used it because oil wasn't as good as as it is today. Molly slip (liquid molly) prolongs engine life, improves economy and protects combustion engines, they run smoother it's great stuff. I've never blown an engine even under great stress, use it every oil and filter change, you'll notice the difference

Uso sempre prodotti liqui moly (compreso l'olio motore) per le mie due auto. In questo caso ho usato questo additivo per la prima volta su una peugeot 1.6 HDI che conta oltre 215.000 km. La procedura che ho adottato è la seguente: - scaricato circa 1/2 litro dell'olio vecchio (con pompa ad aspirazione) - inserito il flush liqui moly (cod. 2678) secondo istruzioni (motore caldo etc.) - scaricato completamente olio (senza cambiare il filtro) - ricaricato olio fresco di "minor costo" (ma sempre rispettando le specifiche) e usato la macchina per una 30ina di km - scaricato questo olio, cambiato filtro e ricaricato olio (liqui moly top tec 4300) mixato all'additivo. Per evitare di superare il livello massimo dell'olio va calcolata la giusta quantità di additivo da inserire. Nel mio caso, il cambio olio con filtro prevede 3,75l. Pertanto ho inserito 3,6l di olio e poco meno di 180 ml di additivo (va usato al 5%). Il beneficio (nel mio caso è stato sensibile) comincia ad avvertirsi dopo qualche giorno. Motore più silenzioso, più pronto e rotondo. Dopo 3000 km circa devo dire che anche la quantità di vapori d'olio che si genera normalmente in questi motori e che finisce per imbrattare tutta l'aspirazione (turbina, intercooler, farfalla, collettore etc) è drasticamente diminuita. Insomma, penso che faccia egregiamente il suo lavoro e sicuramente lo userò ancora.
