Timex Men's Ironman Essential 10 Full-Size Watch

Simple, easy to use watch. Nothing flash. Small size fits my wrist. Dial can be illuminated. Multi-function. This is my second Timex Ironman watch. Very happy with it.

Initially like the watch, design and basic functions, however it was such a poor experience -- by only paddling in the sea for the first time, no deeper than 0.5m in the water and under 10min swim, water got inside the watch (despite not pressing any buttons) and it completely died -- it suggests 100m water resistant but definitely not the case.

The watch has a nice feel on the wrist very light, buttons work very well ( I've read other review about buttons been far to sensitive) this really isnt the case. As for the display it's very clear both in day and night with the indiglo light,I've been in the shower and watch is perfect no damage to be fair I didn't expect anything else as its 100 m water resistant the only negative I've found isnt with the watch but the instructions it doesn't show how to set time but it's simple enough to do. Overall a great edition to my ever growing collection.

I bought this for my husband who thinks this watch is great - not to complicated for a 68 year old to work out too!

Its a nice watch/ the price on Amazon was the best I could find in the uk /Amazon sent the watch very quickly / the reasons i like the watch are it appears to be well made but time will tell ? / the back light is very good with a 3 second delay giving plenty of time to see the time or adjust/ it is easy to use and adjust all the options / its a nice looking watch. Things I don't like its a bit smaller than I thought / its more unisex than just male / slightly overpriced but still worth buying / a good buy for holidays ect.

Own both Timex Ironman and G-Shock. I prefer Ironman for day-to-day wear. Alarm is louder, can set more than one and special event reminder. Its fairly rugged and for £35 does a good job. The G-shock i tend to keep for travelling: multi time zones, 200m WR, and solar operated. So good for holidaying

I have had two of these watches. Both developed condensation inside within about three months. They refunded the first one (though it was not simple to navigate the system, I had to phone Amazon in the end) so I bought another hoping it was a one off fault, but unfortunately it was not. The instructions say : WARNING: TO MAINTAIN WATER-RESISTANCE, DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS UNDER WATER. But what use is that? It's supposed to be a water proof watch!!! I always had Timex Marathon watches before (I bought a load of them when they were being manufactured in the 1990s and they kept me going for years and years ! ) only one of them developed condensation inside (despite buttons being used under water) and that was only after a year or two of use. And they were just as slim as this watch (not like bricks on your wrist like the Classic Ironman). In addition they had both the start / stop and the split buttons on the front where they are easily accessible : MUCH BETTER. This watch only has one button on the front and the other on the side which is difficult to use when doing swim reps. Basically, had the watch not leaked I'd have given it one or two stars, but since two of them have leaked one star is the most its worth, if that.

I purchased this as my first watch for running and triathlon - it's super easy to use, has all the features, very durable and is great value for money. I often get asked 'Where is your watch from?/Which do you use?' and I instantly recommend this one! I've since purchased for my boyfriend and he's super pleased!

Es el segundo reloj Timex que me compro. Despues de años y tras averiarse el que tenia, he comprado otra vez el mismo modelo. Sencillo en manejo y tiene lo que necesito principalmente: crono
