Beautiful photos, an education on all things horse related.
I bought this for Dad, but I reckon this gift would suit the "little girl" or the "old gambler". The photos would inspire an artist and the content is educational. It was a perfect Christmas gift for someone who loves horses (Obviously 😉).

staggered at the sheer quality, More than well chuffed.
Im a 7 decades book nerd who has been involved in every aspect of publishing and I am blown away with the sheer quality of this book. I have handled coffee table books at well into 3 figures that would more than struggle to match the quality of binding, printing and staggered with the research that was involved in its production. A present for my equestrian grandaughter I could have just bought this on its own and she would be over the moon. Have to lock it away everyone wants to look at it. Cant waít for her birthday.

My niece LOVES it! Best Xmas gift ever!
We go a bit bananas on my nieces and nephew for Christmas. We buy like, about 10 high quality, awesome things for each of them. Having no kids of our own, we love to spoil them. We got this particular niece not only this Horse Encyclopedia, but a horse pandora charm, a custom necklace with horseshoe charm and her name on it, a custom doona cover with a stunning horse design on it that my friend designed for her (bet you can't guess what her favourite animal is.....) and other things like Morphe lip gloss etc. But she got to the part where she open one of her gifts - this book - and stopped opening any more. She just sat and read it like it was the only thing in the world she needed. We were so chuffed to have gotten her something she not only liked, but LOVED! It's not easy to be an aunty/uncle who chooses gifts well! I always fear that would be me one day...but today is not that day, thanks to this book! I read that this book was a great gift for horse lovers, but seriously, if you knew how honest and gorgeous my niece is, you'd know she couldn't fake loving this book. She just loves it. It was the single best gift I think we've ever given her, and that says alot! We normally give their gifts a week before Xmas as they live far away and we visit them beforehand, and I asked her later what she was hoping to get on Christmas day, and she said she got everything she wanted that day. Awwww! This book just upped us in the ranked of cool aunty & uncle, and so I write this review to say, 'thankyou'.
