As I've gotten older my skin has decided it doesn't want creamy, scented, sticky or gloopy 'products'. It's not enamoured of so many products these days... but it really does like this Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel. It's very easily absorbed. I use it after a shower. A blob in my hands swiped on to my face like I'm washing, ending with a swipe down on to my neck. I feels lovely. Cooling. There's no tacky feel either. It absorbs completely. My old face and skin veer toward dry. I very occasionally get a little eczema... this helps. It leaves me feeling - very cliche but honest - fresh. I used to pay a lot for brands that cost a small fortune. I do wonder now whether it was ever worth it. This particular product has been on my Christmas stocking list the last six years. My children's hot line to Santa has ensured I haven't had to spend anything! Buy this, add it to your Christmas list!

I bought this after getting fed up with heavy creams that sit on top of my skin and make me shiny by lunchtime. This one is the opposite. It goes on like water, sinks in within seconds and leaves no film at all, so I can put sunscreen straight over it without waiting. The hydration is the part that surprised me. My skin stays comfortable all day, no tight feeling, no dry patches around the nose. It has hyaluronic acid, which pulls water into the skin, and you can genuinely see the difference after a week of using it morning and night. A few things worth knowing. It is oil free and has not caused me a single breakout. It is fragrance free, so if you like a spa scent from your skincare, this is not that. The 50ml jar lasts me around two months using it twice a day, which makes the price hard to argue with. If your skin is very dry in winter you may want something richer at night, but for everyday use this covers everything I need. I have used moisturisers costing five times as much and none of them worked better than this one. It has become the only one I repurchase.

Overall, a really good daily moisturiser if you want something lightweight, hydrating, and non-clogging.

I normally use Clinique moisture surge or moisture surge intense, but due to recently going bald there's now a lot more room to cover, and due to not wanting to allow my baldness to empty my bank account, I thought to try a slightly cheaper alternative. I have quite spot prone skin so generally go for something that's oil free and non-comedogenic, and this has worked really well over the last month, and I haven't had any flare ups. Doesn't leave residue, absorbs quickly, moisturises enough so my pores don't leak oil through the day, really very happy. Give it a try.

Liked it but what a horrible scent

I have the driest, flakiest skin going. I usually use a combination of different moisturisers just so I can put my make up on smoothly. I've just opened this cream, put it on my face and my skin drank this straight in. It absorbed sooo well and like my skin was crying out for it. Left my face so smooth. Im in shock how well this has worked. Along with the price. It is fantastic. Also smells real good

So good, my skin is better now than 5 years ago or when I was a teenager. Definitely recommend to sensitive skin and mixed skin prone to acne.

Perfect for very oily skin, light and moisturizing

I don't like it, my face feels sticky after using it and I see that it doesn't help me reduce skin sebum.
