Does anyone use this AND the Hold and Shine Moisture Mist? If so, what is the advantage of using both?

Light weight hair product that doesn't last long if you have long thick hair. True mist spray is good for hold and shine. The soufflé is great. The gel is sticky and you have to wash it out the next day.

I notice people are referring to hair type numbers. Where do I find out what type I am?

Go online and do a search for natural hair curl types. There will dare descriptions to help you determine your curl pattern.

Is this good for doing finger coils in my hair?

Probably not .. try The gel soufflé product instead .. it’s thicker and will hold longer I think .. this mousse is a bit watery

Would this work on Caucasian 2a-2b hair? Does it feel hard or crunchy when it dries?

No,wonderful, soft curls. I love this stuff! Not much time for researching my hair, skin etc., but dry, curly, thick, grey, about sums it up. I’ve only used Chi Argan oil for ever,(my hair and I do love it) and of course the best quality shampoo and conditioner I can afford. Got caught overnight at 40 year old daughter’s home (similar hair) needing to wash hair, and without my products! Used this stuff (very reluctantly). Went to air port with hair still wet, landed four hours later, expecting a horrible mess on my head, when I caught reflection on the way to the ladies room. Shock! Been years since hair had looked as good.
