For someone who works long hours around people, that's not just uncomfortable—it’s mortifying. When I started testing Mitchum, I didn’t expect much. I assumed it would either cause the same irritation or not last more than a few hours. I was wrong on both counts. I ran it through my usual gauntlet of real-life tests: applying after shaving, long days working from home with heating on full blast, stressful presentations, summer commutes on packed public transport, nights out dancing, and even hikes in 25°C heat. Every time, it held up better than anything else I’ve used. I noticed I wasn’t checking myself in the mirror anymore. I wasn’t carrying a backup spray in my bag. I wasn’t getting that end-of-day mustiness under my shirts. It just worked. Quietly and consistently. Even more surprisingly, my skin didn’t rebel. I’ve now used Mitchum daily for almost a year straight, and not once has it caused a rash, itching, or tightness. That’s unheard of for me. The application is smooth—no dragging or stickiness—and it dries quickly enough to get dressed without awkward wait times. The absence of alcohol is a game-changer for sensitive skin. That was one of the triggers I eventually identified in products like Sure or Sanex: alcohol was inflaming freshly shaved skin even when I didn’t realise it at the time. Routine matters too. I’ve found that the best results come from applying Mitchum to completely dry skin at least 20 minutes after showering. If I shave my underarms (which I sometimes do to reduce moisture build-up), I wait at least an hour before applying. This Revlon Mitchum deodorant stick has fantastic staying power. The fragrance is strong but not overpowering so it doesn’t clash with aftershave. It glides on easily and doesn’t clog pores or clump armpit hair. The stick lasts for ages and doesn’t dry out. On application it has a slight creamy texture that disappears. Just one word of advice - leave for several minutes to dry down before putting on clothes or you may get residue on them. Its size makes it perfect for travel or taking to the gym - great value for money and very reliable for keeping sweat it check.

Unlike ex HRH Andrew, I do sweat... a lot. I've been through more deodorants than I care to admit - some okay, some absolutely useless. I've never been a fan of sticks or roll-ons either, but this has completely changed my mind. This stuff is fantastic. Smells great, goes on smoothly, and genuinely lasts for hours and hours. l've tried other "heavy duty" antiperspirants that technically stop sweat but feel like they're quietly trying to cauterise your armpits. Apparently that's "normal". Hard pass. This one? No burning. No irritation. No sensitivity. And absolutely zero BO. It just works, without the drama. Proper set-and-forget protection. I've used other Mitchum sticks before and they're fine, but this one is noticeably better - stronger, longer lasting, and more comfortable. If I really had to nitpick, it's almost too good. It's surprisingly hard to wash off completely, and there's always a tiny bit left at the bottom you can't quite reach. But honestly, that feels more like proof it's doing its job. A genuine game-changer. I won't be going back.

Never found a better anti-perspirant. It might leave a few white marks but given how it works and how long lasting it is, it’s worth it. Try to put it one 5 mins before putting any clothes on at least so you don’t get white streaks

Overall the deodorant is fine, it's fresh smelling and works over a day no problem. BUT... The packing that gets thrown away at the end does seem hugely excessive and it's all plastic of course. The amount of deodorant within the pack feels a bit stingy - it's about 2.5 cms worth which is about 25% of the size of the packaging. You can see through the rest of the packaging and it's basically empty space except for the screw mechanism to push the deodorant out. If it had more deodorant within it would be better and less wasteful on the packaging. If there was a refill it would also help as I'm sure the container part would work fine for a long time but instead it'll just get binned I don't think I can buy these again on the basis of being so wasteful. I'll be taking more care next time.

This stuff works and smells good enough. The only thing I've found is that one of these doesn't last much more than a month of daily use.
