Would be better with less spice dust
I like peanuts, peanut butter, Reese's, and most things associated with peanuts. I found this can on Amazon,These peanuts are spicy, but not all that hot. Over time the heat builds, but it's a mild, warming heat more than a scorched desert heat. There is so much spice that my fingers end up covered with spice dust just like when I ate cheese puffs as a kid.The peanuts themselves taste fresh, have a nice crunch to them, and when you can taste them, have a nice flavor.I do think I would like them better with less spice. I've coughed more than a few times with the spice dust went down the wrong pipe, and while I like them, they have been relegated to a sometimes treat instead of the plain peanuts I eat more regularly.Zatarain's is a company I'm not overly familiar with as I live in the Pacific Northwest, but I think they make cajun foods. I'm not sure if this is supposed to taste cajun, but I enjoyed them.5/5*

Good, but not very spicy
I was impressed with the taste and quality of other Virginia Diner products, so I gave these a try.I was not disappointed. Like all Virginia Diner peanut products, they came vacuum-sealed with a heavy liner keeping the vacuum in. You'll hear the hiss when you break the seal. The nuts are fresh and crunchy. However, the product picture makes them either look larger than they are, or it makes the container look smaller than it is. These are average-sized peanuts, the same size as you would buy in the store. The container is larger than it looks in the picture. The nuts are mostly halves, with a few whole nuts and very few pieces. They are not as spicy as the title "Cajun" would suggest. At first, you barely notice the spice. It builds a little as you eat more, but not very much. A nice flavor, but less than I expected. Minus one star for not being (nearly) spicy enough, but four stars for the superior quality.

Cajun flavor had too much sweetness
I enjoyed them and the cajun flavor was good, but it had too sweet an aftertaste. I was looking for more just spicy cajun taste. they were fresh and still worth eating.
