Saucepan with lid

...I saw these and decided to give it a go. I ordered one saucepan and lid plus two saucepans without lids so that I could, if needed, microwave three different things using just the one lid and/or if one was being washed out I could again use the lid on another one etc etc. OK, as others have said in their reviews they are not quite as sturdy in the handle area as the hard plastic variety but equally they are not flimsy either. I have had no problem using them at all and like all things coming out of a microwave that are hot they simply need to be handled with care. A big plus for me is that they wash out so much more easily than the hard plastic variety I have used previously - almost as if they are truly 'non-stick' - and even though they are red I am unable to see any signs of them being stained inside. I have used these since early January for a variety of cooking needs and washed them in my dishwasher [upper tray] and fully expect to be using them for many Januarys to come. I am pleased to report that this microwave saucepan works perfectly for me and on that basis I am very happy to recommend this item to you. Nice little pan for microwave and goes in dishwasher

It's one of those things you don't realise you need until you own one. Very handy for heating up beans in the microwave for a quick meal rather than dirtying a saucepan over the hob, then waiting for it to actually heat the beans - not to mention the wooden spoon you've then got to wash by hand. First world problems! The reason I've knocked a star off this is because, as other reviewers have mentioned, the handle is a bit flimsy. This is my second saucepan - my other lasted about a year before the handle snapped. I then bought a similar item from a well-known bargain shop; but it stained quickly and seemed to be flaking off around the fill line, which concerned me that I might be ingesting bits of harmful plastic and, therefore, chemicals unknowingly - if the manufacturer simply reinforced the handle and added another lip to the other side of the pan (I'm right-handed, but I tend to pour with my left hand and use my other hand to scrape the beans out with a spoon), then I'd pay a lot more as the quality of the plastic on this item seems a lot better. All in all, I like the non-reactive quality of the plastic; and for the price, I'm happy to replace it every year or so.

These are great, our previous one was eaten by the dog! - but the lid on these is a great addition over our previous variant - glad we updated to this product!

I use this for softening butter in the microwave,it’s not very sturdy but does the job and it’s cheap.

Could not believe the quality of this for the price! Excellent value! Microwave friendly and very durable! Not cheap material and yet very cheap!

rubbish item melts in microwave waste of money

I havnt used them yet, but they have replaced my previous one which lasted about 6 years.
