Worked perfectly. Looks clear and sounds clear on my 4k uhd TV. I watched videos comparing different Wii converters and this one was top of the list for a few. Originally got a generic av to HDMI converter at GameStop that did not work so I'm very happy with this one

Works great. Connects to the Wii AV port just fine and allows you to enable 480p. For the record, I'm not using the included HDMI cable. I didn't even try it, honestly. I prefer it to those blocks you stick on the back due to the added flexibility.

I did a lot a lot of research on different wii to hdmi adaptors for months on end from reading reviews to watching videos and video comparisons of this and others... This was the best option over any other kinda adaptor... I bought my daughter a wii for her bday her first gaming system and i remember i had one when it first came out in 06 and loved it myself...I have a TCL Roku 4K Ultra HD Smart Tv...hooked this thing up with ease and in not time at all...functionality was a breeze, screen quality wow looks great on my tv not grainy or anything it's a perfect crystal clear picture and gaming experience speed idk but works as should for hdmi and i get 500gb high-speed internet wifi at home and was compatible with the hdmi ports on my tv it will go into any hdmi port... i would highly recommend this wii to hdmi converter price was reasonable fast shipment packed very well... only thing is from other reviews i used my own hdmi cord i did not use the hdmi cord that came with this...so i can't comment on how well that works but every review and video i saw said do not use it don't work well you want to use your own hdmi cable cord so that's what i did right away when hooking it up... so if on the fence if you should or not get this yes you should :^) ill try to get a picture later to add to my comment so you can see for yourself if i can add pics later on i just didnt think to take any before this review ...

It works fine. Had to get this one since the other one I had was too deep for the shelf I had it on. This one has the same picture quality. When I was setting it up, I was afraid it was forcing 4:3 as some reviews have mentioned, but turns out I just needed to tweak my TV’s settings to set the aspect ratio to Widescreen mode in order for it to be 16:9. Your mileage may vary depending on your TV’s picture settings. The signal being output to the TV is 480p, as with most other adapters on the market.

Giving it 5 stars because it does exactly what I needed it to do. I did change the display settings to 480p, but on the older HD tv we have I didn’t notice a difference. The HDMI cable that came with the adapter worked fine for me.

I initially plugged it in and everything worked great! Five minutes passed and now it doesn't output any signal. I unfortunately didn't keep the original packaging and am now unable to return it. I've tried using different HDMI cables, including the one included in the box, and none of them worked. The original COMP cable still works fine so it's not a problem with my wii. It is just a defective product.

Using to connect my 1st generation Wii to my smart Tv to keep being able to enjoy playing with it. This cord kit is an off brand but still works great with my Wii system and my roku tv. I haven't had problems with using it and so far its working great.

In short, this adapter is easily the all-round perfect solution for anyone looking to get a Wii up and running on a modern (likely 4K) TV right now. But if like me, you’re a bit more interested in the details, I’ve got you covered! Otherwise, just buy this one. It’s fantastic! :) YES, even for those who care about getting the best image quality, without spending lots on an ElectronWarp or even MayFlash’s Wii2HDMI, it’s a rock solid performance and for this price, you’re not getting anything that provides such a clean image out of the box, even for a majority of Wii enthusiasts who want to get the most quality image, this is probably 95% as good as those more expensive offerings. It’s reasonably built but that’s not a huge deal if it’s going to be plugged in to your Wii constantly of course, it feels better built than a generic Wii2HDMI though which is always assuring. If there is even a smidge of input lag, I just cannot feel it. I can also speak to the great audio quality I’m getting from it, I could immediately tell the difference through my soundbar between this and a cheap generic Wii2HDMI which means it’s money well spent in my view. All I can recommend is that you do not use the included cable, I have not tried it myself but heard from multiple other owners of this same adapter that it causes issues, so just grab an HDMI cable from something else and you’re good to go. Do make sure your TV is set to Game Mode for the lowest and most ideal latency. You may also get a 4:3 image output initially when using this adapter for the first time despite the Wii being set to 16:9, so play around with your TV’s picture zoom settings if this is the case and make sure it stretches it back out to 16:9. I am not sure if the black and white ones are the exact same model but just for reference I have the white one and recommend it just so you know you’re 100% getting the same adapter. All in all a fantastic product, regardless of whether you’ve just dusted your Wii off and want to play some Wii Sports for old times’ sake, or you’re as in love with your Wii as me and want to get better image quality out of it than a generic Wii2HDMI can achieve, this is the one to go for!

Funktioniert wirklich hervorragend! Hinweis: Im Wii-Menü muss man unter "Fernseher" noch auf "HDTV 480p" stellen, nicht die "50Hz 576i". Bei diesen Wii2HDMI-Adaptern scheint es eine handvoll Hersteller zu geben, mit jeweils unterschiedlichen Qualitäten. Dies hier ist quasi der "teuerste" der billigen: für 12,99 Euro. Ein Vergleichstest bei Youtube hat mich darin bestätigt, dass sich dieses Teil hier durchaus lohnt auszuprobieren. Das Bild ist ruhig, kein Geflacker, kein grünes Gekrissel, nicht verwaschen, kontraststark und Farben sind kräftig. Was will man mehr. Natürlich kommt hier kein hochauflösendes 4K zustande, aber die altersentsprechenden 480p der Wii werden immerhin vernünftig ausgegeben. Vorher hatte ich einen AV-Adapter, der das Composite-Video (gelber Stecker) auf HDMI umsetzt. Dies war qualitativ sehr übel. Dann habe ich allerdings gelernt, dass der Wii-Ausgang ein Kombistecker ist und zusätzlich noch Component Progressive Scan (YPbPr) ausgegeben wird. Das ist natürlich die viel bessere Quelle! Dieser HDMI-Adapter nutzt das Component-Signal und setzt es auf HDMI um. Er benötigt nicht einmal ein extra Netzteil dazu. Klasse! Die angehefteten Vergleichsbilder sprechen für sich, denke ich mal. Klare Kaufempfehlung. (Wer noch ambitionierter einen oben draufsetzen will, kann sich ja noch einen PhotoFast 4K Pro Gamer, oder ähnlich, zulegen. Das wird dann aber langsam richtig teuer und ob der Upscaler das Wii-Bild noch VIEL besser machen kann, ist fraglich.)

Me gusta, simple y funcional. Es super fácil de usar, lo conectas a la Wii, le pones el cable HDMI, lo conectas a la tele y listo, no precisa de instalación secundaria o cables de alimentación propios y que utiliza la propia consola para la alimentación. Convierte la salida digital que yo antes usaba con entrada por componentes a la tele a señal digital de HDMI, incluso funciona bien con el proyector que he adquirido recientemente. Eso si, la señal se nota que no es full hd, se ve bien si, pero de 720p no pasa, y si me apuras diría que tiene un pequeño temblor en la imagen que supongo debe de ser por la conversión a tiempo real, pero hay que prestar mucha atención sino el temblor casi no se aprecia, por lo demás todo genial. Añadir, que aunque tiene salida de jack para conectar el audio al propio televisor a un equipo estéreo, no se precisa utilizar, ya que el cable HDMI también lleva el sonido. En mi caso, tengo la consola conectada al proyector y éste al equipo de música para escucharlo por los altavoces (que tienen bastante más potencia que el propio proyector), por lo que no necesité ningún cable jack adicional.

Ich habe mir einen neuen Fernseher gekauft an dem ich keinen AV Anschluss mehr habe. Wollte aber trotzdem meine Wii weiterhin benutzen. Also: Gekauft-Angeschlossen-Genossen Es ist echt ein gutes Bild und kein üblicher Chinaschrott.
