Next Level Racing Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Military Edition

I was absolutely blown away at the quality of this seat. I have a full HOTAS setup with pedals and MFDs that I use primarily for DCS. Assembly was easy. 10/10. There are written instructions that a really good, but you can also watch one of several videos that they have to walk you through the assembly process. Hardware is primarily M8 with a few M5, so not many tools required. The do give you the standard throwaway tools, but do yourself a favor and use your own. Setup was a breeze, as well. 10/10. There are many options in terms of stick location and keyboard location, and you will have parts left over. I tried multiple mounting positions before I landed on the center stick/side elevated keyboard configuration that just felt right. I use VR, so I was birdboxing around for the first few hours, but I was able to adjust all of the controls so that they matched their locations in VR space. Quality is top notch. 10/10. I am 5'10" and weigh about 230lbs and this thing supports my weight without even a whimper. Getting in and out of the seat can be a bit of a trick, but even when I am lifting myself out and putting my full weight against the back rest, there are no creaks, cracks, or groans that might indicate that I am finding a weak spot. When I am vigorously working the controls, they are brick house solid. There is no sense that they are mounted to a frame. The lack of any flex in the mounting really adds to the immersive experience that you expect from a sim pit of this caliber. Comfort is really good, but for me it could be better. 9.5/10. As I said before, I am on the bigger side, so I might be just a bit outside the design parameters, but I do get some discomfort after a few hours in the seat. That said, there are adjustments just like you have in your car. The seat slides forward and back and the back reclines to a near flat angle. There is a faux sheep wool cover on the seat that is of a higher quality than you might expect. I use a similar cover on my motorcycle seat when I am doing long distance touring. It's great for support and air flow. There is also a fairly substantial lumbar support included. I thought that I might just set that aside, but it really does enhance the comfort of the seat. Value overall is good. 9/10. I've had a lot of good things to say about this chair and the high praise is on par with the price they are asking. Looking for a premium, no BS sim experience on a solid, aesthetically pleasing platform? These guys have it nailed.

This was amazingly easy to assemble, it fit exactly what I needed it to fit. Works amazing with my rig and set up. All of the extra pieces helped with attaching all of my peripherals and throttle assembly, as well as my joystick. This is a great kit, very user friendly. My only gripe, and I don't know if I can even call it that, is that the cushion gets a little hard after sitting on it for a couple hours. Keep in mind, I have zero ass, so I run into this issue a lot unless chairs are super comfortable. So, I think for the average person, 3 to 4 hours in this thing is not going to be that big of a deal. For me, I find that after a couple hours I have to get up and walk around a little bit. So, if you're into long haul flights, might get a bit hard. Otherwise, not super difficult to throw some extra padding on the seat if you really need it. Overall, I would highly recommend this.

Love this commercial level cockpit so much. I still remember my wife’s face when that huge box arrived on our doorstep. “wow.” She said. “Where will you put that?” Seriously, this this will take up some room so have your space prepared. The cockpit comes with floor stoppers that screw into the bottom however you could just as easily trade those out for 6 heavy duty locking caster wheels (not included). That way it could roam in and out of the way if the only space you have is in your living room… or if your wife kicked you and it out of the house. The chair is very customizable. So much so that I recommend reading the directions entirely before putting it together so you fully understand your options. The pictures on the site don’t do the customizability justice. I found building took a lot of time in disassembly just because I opened the next page and discovered more options which also gave me wife time to consider her options. I’ll be honest, my intention with getting this chair is to get the motion expansion pieces made by this same company. When I showed my wife how much that stuff cost I think… I think that’s when my stuff started flying out the window…. But I’ll tell you what I told her. This is a small investment now so I can have a bigger home motion set up later. Didn’t help me but maybe it helps you. If you’re not interested in expanding into the motion side of things then this is still a great chair but this may not necessarily be your best option. If you are interested in getting some motion, this is 100% the cheapest* pathway to it. *Divorce may increase initial cost. Seek financial or marriage counselor for your options.* The whole chair is pretty comfortable. It has to be since I sleep in it now. It even reclines and moves back and forth like a real car or airplane. Unfortunately it doesn’t recline all the way flat so if you want to sleep in it, you’ll have to be okay with sitting up somewhat. I’ll take some pictures of my set up as soon as the judge tells her she has to let me back in. Maybe the garage. But the summary of my set up is as follows: I clamped a dual monitor panel made by Flight Velocity (FVPRO4) along with a honeycomb alpha and bravo to the space in front of the chair . This is a lottttt of weight. With the panel, monitors, cables, and both sets of flights controls this was way more weight than they had in mind for a single. Yet, it still works pretty well and is sturdy. This really isn’t how they ‘intended’ this product be used but is a testament to the cockpit’s versatility. I also use my TPR Expert Rudder pedals which screwed into the base easily. I’m taking off one star because a single screw was missing from where the chair back is screwed into the base. This screw also manages to elude the hardware store so, as you can imagine, the majority of my life’s problems are centered around that right now. All in all, a great buy and I do appreciate that it’s cheaper than the $1100 version by the same company. Maybe that’ll get her to take me back.

This over-engineered flight simulator cockpit is a game-changer for aviation enthusiasts! Impeccable design and robust construction create a dream setup. The ergonomic seating and multi-configurability for general aviation, commercial, or military simulations are unparalleled. Though a bit pricey, the investment is justified for the unmatched immersion. The only drawback is the design oversight for the Bravo Throttle Quadrant, placing it behind your arm position. A 3D-printed part will be needed to place it in a convenient location; but for now, I have my Bravo still mounted on a desk. Despite this, it stands out as the best one-man cockpit, especially when paired with the TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA throttle quadrant, and TCA rudder pedal. A truly amazing setup for an unparalleled flight simulation experience!

This is a very pricey unit. However it is worth the cost, I’m in fab, this produce is really well made. Every material is over done to the high side. And the QA is top notch. Everything fit with no issues. All tools were supplied including a 13mm wrench.

This is a very well engineered cockpit. Everything fits together perfectly, and is very well thought out. They've provided ample screws, bolts and adapters for a wide variety of devices. The assembly took several hours but much of that tune was planning out my layout. It feels solid and is very adjustable. I think the only criticism I could offer is that it would be nice if the keyboard wasn't so far away. It really should be adjustable forward and back. I intend to rectify that using aluminum extrusion to mount my keyboard panel where I need it. Other than that, literally no other complaints. It's a solid build and a great design. Great job guys!

Great flight sim seat . I love it . Took me almost 5 hours to put together on my own . And I installed my butt kicker to the bottom of it . With LED lights . Could be more happy with this chair. Was very surprised of the size of the box it came in . It was very heavy.i recommend having two people to assemble and move the box .

Mixed emotions about this product. As others have reviewed, the construction quality of the metal frame is very good. Assembly instructions also very good, and actual tools to assemble shipped with the unit. For me that about where the good ends. Issues: seat is low to the ground, enough that standing up from it is awkward at best since there is no good place to put your feet when standing up, especially if using the center stick mount. I have removed the center stick mount so that I have somewhere for my legs to be, now if I move the seat all the way back I can put my feet on the floor to stand up, currently have 2x4’s under the base to add a couple inches of height to the unit, which makes it easier to stand up. On my unit the rails the seat are mounted to had very sharp corners from the manufacturing process, had to sand the corners down to keep from getting cut. These same sharp edges are tearing the seat cushion apart. The seat, it might as well be a board, extremely uncomfortable for long gaming sessions, the back of the seat is not well formed, and the provided lumbar support cushion is twice as thick as it should be, to the point of pushing me forward on the seat. So construction quality, fair to good, design quality, leaves a lot to be desired. I have a bucket seat from a vehicle I will be swapping in, and I’ll build a few different mounting arms that will make the unit more usable. As others have mentioned will also be adding wheels for ease of cleaning. Overall disappointed for the money spent, though possibly for a shorter person (I am 5’10”) this unit would be okay.

Compré esta cabina para montar un Logitec G923, habia leido algunos comentarios que decian que el armado era muy complicado y que el instructivo no servia de mucho; si bien es cierto que el instuctivo yo diria que no sirve de nada, hay un video en youtube en donde se explica muy bien como armarlo y en realidad es facil (tardé unos 30 min), una vez armado, doblarlo para guardar y luego desdoblarlo para jugar te lleva unos 5 min. Llevo una semana con el y todo hasta ahora ha sido bastante bueno, por el precio cre que es una excelente opcion! En cuanto al tiempo de entrega, llegó 4 días antes de lo programado! Seguiré usandolo y si es necesario actualizaré mi opinion.
