Speedy upgrade
Great NVME, used it to replace a 128gb default one that came with my laptop. Was easy to install, just opened up my laptop swapped it, fitted as expected, then screwed everything back on. Installed a fresh copy of windows and the rest is history. Much more storage and much faster, can't complain at all. I could have bought a higher tier of laptop with more storage but for the price difference buying this and fitting it made far more sense. Its been in my laptop for over 1.5 years and have had no issues. Great value for money.

I'm not sure why the compact design of this SSD is boasted so much - all SSDs of this size are compact and work perfectly in any compatible PC or laptop. My only negative is that it doesn't come with a heat sink but you can pick these up quite cheaply and you will have to add it yourself (pretty easy to do, watch youtube vid) Overall, the Kingston NV2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD is a top-quality storage device that offers exceptional performance, reliability, and compatibility. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-performance storage solution for their computer, and it is well worth the investment. Cheapest on the market for gen 4 (at time of this review) I've been using this for 3 months with no issues.

Perfect Product on a Budget
Perfect budget NVMe drive for people looking for data storage on the cheap side of things. Great transfer speeds and gets the job done. No need to worry about temperatures as it does not get hot under load and I have had no issues.

Set up was weird
Works perfectly and is as advertised however for a person new with tech it may be difficult to find the ssd in settings and activate it

Great Price and Quality!
When building a PC nowadays, you must have an SSD for your storage to ensure fast loading times. This SSD was the cheapest, at the time of purchase, and is lightning quick. This is especially true if you come from a standard hardrive. I would recommend.

When used with Mac OS, format as APFS
I used this SSD as an external drive to my iMac M3. I recommend formatting as APFS not exFAT if your system drive is Mojave or later. When I first used the SSD, I formatted it as exFAT so that would be compatible with both my Microsoft Windows and Mac OS machines. However after several weeks some files I had saved were now corrupt i.e.no data in them. I reformatted the drive as APFS and have had no further problems for at least three months. Apart from this initial problem, I am happy with functioning of the drive.

Excellent product, transformed my PC
Investigating why my PC startup was so slow, I discovered that the conventional hard drive was very slow. Installing this drive to replace the C drive was fantastic. I have 16GB of memory but the fragmentation of my C drive after 5 years was the cause of my problems. Once installed my PC became turbo charged and started up faster that it had even when new
