What is the difference between this and the frida 3 step cradle cap brush?

I bought the baby bath silicone brush specifically for my sons cradle cap but didn’t see improvement. I read the details of the product after purchasing and it implies that this is more of a full body brush for washing baby rather than specifically for cradle cap. I purchased the frida baby 3 step cradle cap brush and paired it with mustela baby shampoo and had success within 2 uses. I can’t say that the brush alone made the improvement but I do think using the scrub side and then the bristle side helped lift the cradle cap.

Is this more aimed for newborns or would it work just as well on a 2 year old?

it doesn't work for my 2.5 year old. I bought an adult scrubber for her and that worked much better. we do love the DermaFrida for our newborn though!
