Make sure you read the size. I thought they were bigger, like the picture but actually they small in size. My fault. My grand daughter plays with them in her play kitchen and loves them. They turned out to be the perfect size for her and look real.

I bought these as part of a bday gift for my niece who wanted all things having to do with pretend cooking and baking. The product originally comes in a simple white baked-goods-esque type box. The donuts are individually wrapped and absolutely adorable. They are strikingly realistic compared to most toy food, and have a delightful sweet smell to them. I decided to jazz it up a bit by lining the bottom interior of the box with a cute pink craft paper and stickers on the outside. I customized it with puffy foam letter stickers from Hobby Lobby I had on hand. Now it looks legit! I just wish the box lid opened like a real donut box, you have to slide them out the sides. Not a dealbreaker though

When creating themed prop collections I am always looking for new and imaginative ways to customize items. I wasn't sure what to expect with these little donuts but I decided to impulsively grab a set and see if they would come in handy during a crafting session. When unboxing them I was a little worried they would be too small to make an impact but no... oh NO not the case. To my surprise, they steal the show! I hot glued one right onto one of our custom cut signs and it's rocked countless parties over the last year. Small donut ... BIG IMPACT. I'm floored how it has withstood hours of tweens and tipsy partiers tossing it to fro, without losing a single sprinkle! It's also got a fun squishy texture as a bonus. Fun for kids and adults without attracting the ants. I'm excited to experiment with more of these as some top hat accessories. Overall, a VERY versatile accessory for parties and photo props.

Due to Covid-19, I have been out of work since late March. To fill all of my idle time, I created a tea parlor and hosted pretend tea parties with dolls and stuffed animals. I enjoyed this activity so much that I started to videotape these tea parties. Each tea party I hosted, I wanted to serve my guest a new pastry. So, I searched Amazon to see the possibilities. When I came across these donuts, I was very impressed with what I was viewing. So I ordered them. Once I received my package, I was totally satisfied. As an adult, these donuts are perfect for me; exactly what I wanted. They are also a great item to use as decorations. Yet, I have a little concern if this is a toy for a child. These donuts are small. They can be a choking hazard. The sprinkles can be pulled off. A few of my sprinkles fell off without doing much to them. This toy is made of foam, I believe similar to a stress ball. Therefore, with a hole in the middle, I am not convinced that this is a durable toy for a child. The package that I received did not provide any information about age restrictions, adult supervision, and choking hazards. I found this information on its site, and it was a search that I did not appreciate because it should have been labeled within the packaging. Even though I do not have any children to play with these items, I wanted this information to create an unboxing video. I submitted an unboxing video with my likes and dislikes. I gave a rating of 5 if used as decorations, and I gave a rating of three if used as a toy for a child.

I plan to return this item. The donuts are very small. Not realistic like the title says.
