Absolutely wonderful reading tool for developing readers. I bought this to allow my child to hear his pronunciation of words and self correct as needed. Within one time of using it during out loud reading, I’ve noticed an improvement on pausing during punctuation. It’s a fun way to learn and gain confidence to read in front of a crowd! The size is a tad large for my child whom is 6. If he presses the ear end to his ear, the mouth end is not directly near his mouth and vice versa. As he grows, I believe this will yield a more comfortable fit. As of now, it’s just a slight adjustment in tilting the “tube/phone” so the echo sound is prominent. I wish it came in 2 sizes, possibly a smaller and larger size. P.S. Also made in the USA 🇺🇸

My 7-year-old daughter has speech and Auditory processing difficulties. This little device helps her hear better and pronounce words appropriately immediately. She can finally hear herself! Her auditory processing is only in one ear so it helps strengthen her processing in that ear while using this as well. I told her therapists and they all were impressed with how well it works.

Terrific for fluency practice. The kids love using them and choosing their color. A bit tough to wipe down everytime we use them but worth the hassle.

I got this for my triplets to use as a toy phone, hoping that it would help them to learn to speak more clearly since they could hear themselves talk. It does deliver a clear tone right back to your ear when you speak into it, which is great, but the first time the kids used it (not too roughly), it popped into two pieces. I snapped it back together, but a few minutes later they dropped it onto a foam mat from 4 feet and it popped apart again. We ended up duct taping it together to prevent it from popping open, but the material is quite thin, I can imagine it will probably break for good one of these days. It's not super-expensive, but I still wish it were a little more durably made.

I work at the school my daughter attends. She needs speech therapy services from her school. Her therapist uses toobaloo's just like this. I decided to buy one for us to use at home. This is a very high quality toobaloo. The material is a much better material than the toobaloo's used within the standard classroom. It works perfectly for my daughter. I would purchase again. I would also purchase this toobaloo brand over the others for the students in the classroom. It is just a huge difference in quality and function. If you're debating, just purchase this one; you will not be disappointed.

Just a plastic tube

We got the Toobaloo to help our 6-year old with reading skills. When she hears her words she has better fluency and stumbles less, so it's been an absolute win in that department. Unexpected bonus: our exuberant 3-year old likes to use it too. But with his own voice in his ear, he tones the volume down quite a bit. WINNING! I agree with other reviewers that it comes apart easily, but I call that a good design idea. Given kids' propensity to stuff small toys into holes, I'm glad it comes apart. We can clear it of obstructions and wash any spittle out of it. A bit of decorative tape will keep it together more permanently if that's your aim.

I had one of these years ago for one of my children and now my grandchild could definitely use one. Sure helps them to hear how they are articulating their words. It is a little smaller than the one I had before but is just perfect for their ear mouth distance. Great for when they are learning to speak or if they have difficulties saying words. Happy with my purchase. I recommend this product for anyone with children. Also great for singing practise.

The box is dented and faded. If there are difficulties with the box, it should be clearly stated. I doubt that the products inside were really new, either. I'm so disappointed.
