Nespresso Vertuo Pop Coffee Pod Machine Black by De'Longhi

I bought this for my mum and she absolutely loves it. The Vertuo Pop is surprisingly light, really easy for her to handle, and the one‑button operation makes it completely effortless. She just drops in a pod and presses the button - no fiddly parts, no twisting, no lifting heavy kettles. The coffee it makes is genuinely amazing. Smooth, rich, and consistent every single time. My dad, who has Parkinson’s, finds it brilliant too. The stable base and automatic pour mean he doesn’t have to worry about shaking or spills, and he can enjoy a proper coffee without any stress. It’s compact, looks great on the counter, and has made their daily coffee routine so much easier and safer. For anyone who wants great coffee with minimal effort — especially if lifting or steady pouring is difficult — this little machine. I paired it with a coffee pod drawer from amazon to match. Nespresso include a trial pack of 10 coffee pods and you currently get another 50 free pods and stylish travel mug if you sign up on their website where you can order more pods as you need. Great price too at around £79 GBP.

The Nespresso Vertuo Pop Automatic Pod Coffee Machine is a fantastic addition to any coffee lover's kitchen. As someone who enjoys a perfectly brewed cup of coffee each morning, I have found this machine to be a game-changer. Its sleek and compact design makes it an attractive appliance that fits seamlessly into my kitchen countertop without taking up too much space. One of the standout features of the Vertuo Pop is its ease of use. The automatic pod system is incredibly convenient—simply pop in a Nespresso pod, and the machine takes care of the rest. It reads the barcode on each pod to adjust the brewing parameters, ensuring that every cup is made to perfection, whether it's an Americano, espresso, or any other coffee variant. The one-button operation simplifies the brewing process, making it quick and hassle-free, especially during busy mornings. The quality of the coffee produced by the Vertuo Pop is impressive. Each cup is rich, flavorful, and topped with a smooth crema, akin to what you'd expect from a high-end coffee shop. The variety of Nespresso pods available allows for a wide range of flavors and intensities, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the machine heats up rapidly and brews coffee in minutes, which is perfect for those who need their caffeine fix in a hurry. Another great aspect of the Vertuo Pop is its maintenance and cleaning. The machine's parts are easy to disassemble and clean, and the used pod container holds several pods, so you don't have to empty it frequently. The water tank is also easily accessible and large enough to avoid constant refilling. Overall, the Nespresso Vertuo Pop Automatic Pod Coffee Machine offers a combination of convenience, quality, and style. It delivers consistently excellent coffee with minimal effort, making it an ideal choice for both coffee aficionados and those who appreciate convenience. This machine has undoubtedly elevated my coffee-drinking experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy barista-quality coffee at home.

If you plan to use the Nespresso Vertuo Pop with only original Nespresso capsules then this is an extremely convenient choice for great coffee at a premium price for a home brew. The capsules are not cheap compared to buying a pack of your favorite ground or bean coffee, however much cheaper than buying regular coffee shop coffees. There’s no learning curve to using this machine with the complementary box of 12 different capsules once you’ve completed the initial rinsing program. Just insert your selected capsule, close the lid, place an appropriate sized cup and press the button. The size of the capsule will determine how much coffee is delivered to the cup, from a 40ml espresso to a 344ml XL mug. The barcode under the lip of the capsule is different for all capsule types and serves to customise the brewing for that particular type of capsule. Your only issue is choosing which capsules to purchase from the vast selection of different capsules, not only in size of cup but also types of preferred coffee for espresso, cappuccino, latte americano and flavoured varieties. I bought this machine as an addition to my current Melitta drip filter coffee machine which I use with my favorite Lavazza coffee grounds when home all day and can easily go through 3-4 mugs of americano before lunchtime. I wanted this machine to offer the options of having an espresso after a meal or making a quick single americano before going out for the day. This machine lives up to my expectations however if making espresso coffee you’ll likely need to heat the cup first or it will taste like warm. I suggest filling the cup with hot water and 30 seconds in the microwave before making the espresso. If you plan to re-use the capsules using your favorite ground coffee you can buy silicon capsule lids designed specifically for the Vertuo Pop. This will be a steep learning curve and success only comes after some trial and error. I use Lavazza Oro for making espresso using a clean 40ml Orafio capsule, and Lavazza Intenso for making americano using a clean 230ml Intenso capsule. Both produce a decent foam head. The barcodes on each capsule will customise the brewing results so it’s important to select which empty capsule works best for your tastes. Best results are achieved by not overfilling the capsule. Leave about 3mm gap after a very light tamping down before fitting the silicon lid. As for the Nespresso app, after seeing the very poor ratings and reading many of the app reviews I decided not to download it until the ratings are improved. I don’t need the app to operate this machine. YouTube has many tutorials on how to descale and regulate the amount of water for each capsule size. The app appears to offer nothing of further interest to me.

From the beginning there have been issues with the pods sticking and not detaching automatically. 3 months down the line, the leaking of coffee whilst processing is excessive even when the tray is emptied after every coffee. On asking Amazon to refund, the response has been less than helpful, advising me that the company are happy to pick up the product and repair/replace, which could take up to 20 days after collected. Great! I decided I may as well do that, as there appears to be no other option to resolve the matter. Not Amazon's usual standard of care I have to say, in this case. Unfortunately, this has been a regrettable purchase which has not been resolved in the usual efficient way. In my opinion, as this was sold by Amazon, they need to take responsibility and apply their usual refund policy for selling faulty goods and refund immediately.

One of the best purchases I ever made. Paid for itself multiple times if you think about how much I have saved by not buying coffee in coffee shops (sometimes of very questionable quality). Now I have my own nice cup of coffee every day, living my frugal chick life ;-)

Switched from a Dolce Gusto machine and it was so worth it. It’s a massive upgrade. The quality of coffee is excellent. Super easy to use. Put the pod in and it will detect how much water is needed based on the barcode on the pod. It’s a good compact size, still fairly long though. If more than 2 people were having a large coffee in the morning then I’d say the larger version would be a better option or you’d have to fill the water container multiple times. You get a sample box of pods in the box and Nespresso are offering 50 free pods (which are easy to claim online - might be different for all but I got sent 10 each if the following golden caramel, ginseng delight, Altissio, Melozio and Fotado which is decaf) so you’re good to go for a while, depending on coffee intake, before you have to buy additional pods. You can connect your machine to Bluetooth on first use and it will let you know when you should descale the machine etc which is useful. Unlike the Dolce Gusto machine, the Nespresso pods are only coffee and do not have powdered milk pods which I found too sweet as I prefer black coffee. All pods, however, can be used with milk. You can buy a Nespresso milk frother machine or just warm up milk and froth with a small electric hand whisk and you tap the brew button twice to increase the intensity of the brew. The Nespresso app has a recipe for a cappuccino and latte Machiato. One function I really like is the pod catcher, keeps everything nice and tidy and the pods are all recyclable through Nespresso pod collection. Just bare in mind you can’t buy the pods in the supermarket (not that I’ve found anyway) but you can order easily enough via Nespresso or Amazon and they are a little more expensive when compared to the Dolce Gusto or the other Nespresso pods but it’s worth it for the quality of coffee.

I’ve had this now for nearly 5 months, I needed a replacement for my Vertuo Plus, but couldn’t afford a more expensive model at the time. This was around £60 so I thought I would give it a try. Here’s my honest review. Pros: - compact - cheap - you get to have your favourite Nespresso coffees. If you’ve developed a taste for the nespresso coffee, and its convenience, then this gives you that. Although, as I state below, I think this gives too much crema/froth. Cons: - noisy/rattly - leaks now and again - too much froth/crema imo - often get bits of coffee in the cup - really have to slam the lid down and lock it This is a noisy device, exacerbated by the pod waste container, which is two loose-fitting plastic components. It feels (and obviously is) much cheaper than the Plus. The leaking is obviously a bit of a deal-breaker for many, and given the reliability issues of many nespresso machines you might end up in an endless cycle of replacements. I could ignore most of these issues if the coffee was as good as the plus, but I find espresso/double espresso comes out way too frothy. A coffee with milk (ie using Aeroccino) is fine, but not ‘shorts’ in my opinion. I’ve called it froth because it’s not the nice fine layer of crema you expect, it’s too aerated. So I think when I finally have had it with the leaking, and run through my current supply of pods, I will be looking elsewhere for a machine. £60 for a nespresso machine is not much, so really you can’t expect too much. Maybe I’ll go back to a higher end nespresso, as I love the convenience, the coffee is nice (I’ve found enough varieties that I like now!), but I’m worried by the reliability of the machines, which seems to be getting worse.

Writing this incredibly frustrated. After 3 months of use I have a red light flashing. I've google and read people's comments here and done everything it suggested. But it won't work. The red light is still a problem. I've really enjoyed having a nice tasting coffee every day but now I have a good 100 pods I can't use unless I buy another. Very disappointing. Sadly I've read a few reviews that say the same kinda thing. It definitely needs to be better built!

Voy por partes: No comprar si no vives en Reino Unido, viene con enchufe americano, te va a tocar comprar un adaptador. La caja que iba dentro del embalaje había sido abierta. No trae las muestras de café. El envío desastroso.
