Easy to use, great value for the price. We did not have any issue with fitting it onto the wood that it says to use. We built a swing set for our grandchildren and they absolutely love it. It is durable and will last a long time. The options are endless. Be sure to get some swing hangers to hang your swings and what ever else you are putting on the swing set with.

I knew from reading the reviews that the wetter treated lumber is what was giving people trouble. It's pretty well known that treated lumber shrinks as it dries. So when Lowe's only had wet lumber, I knew I was in trouble. I got 12' 4x6s and 10' 4x4s. I copied the idea of the guy with the professional playground in his backyard and did an 18" overhang for a future fire pole install. And I like how it looks with the overhangs as well. I used a belt sander to sand off a smidge on all 4 sides of the end of one 4x6, then used a hammer and a 2x2 to pound the first bracket on. No damage to the bracket. No angry feelings. Just a little sanding and a little coaxing with a hammer. The rest of the brackets went on fairly easy. I did chamfer the corners of the 4x6s with my knife. The 4x4s slid in no problem at all. The only real struggle was fully assembling. I put one end and the center bracket together with the legs and thought I could stand it up on my own. HA! I got it up to my waist and said YEA RIGHT! I took the center bracket/legs off and stood up the end bracket/legs/main beam into a pyramid. I set a ladder up and put the main beam on the top, then positioned the center bracket/legs and shimmied it on. I had measured and marked a line so I knew when I was halfway through. I then built the other end bracket/legs/main beam pyramid. I placed the main beam on the ladder, climbed up and lined the main beam up with the center bracket. Moved the ladder to the end and hammered the 4x6 home, occasionally climbing down and scooting the legs in as I went along. Super easy. Everything except the picking up, aligning, maneuvering, assembling all by myself part. But it IS possible. I just had to do it because people on here said it was too hard to do alone. As the great David Goggins says, YOU DONT KNOW ME, SON! As for the quality of brackets, the welds look fine, the steel is plenty heavy for a swing set. The finish is holding up great, since I didn't beat mine directly with a hammer... The hardware is very basic. I wouldn't be surprised if it only lasts a couple years. But for the price, it's not the end of the world to buy replacements if that day comes. The swing set does move if I get on a really start crankin'. But I'm 6'4", 255lbs. So what do you expect. If my 3 kids get in sync, the legs move a tiny bit off the ground. No big deal. But I have purchased 24" ground anchors and some turnbuckles to anchor the 4 corners. I'm not too keen on digging holes for concrete, and I'm not worried about the legs rotting away a couple inches at a time. I may put gravel under the feet, or maybe I won't. Just buy the brackets and build one better so your kids can enjoy their childhood.

The brackets were amazing. I did have to chisel off a slight amount of my one 4x6x8's (used 2 8ft pieces to make a total 16ft swing set)due to the top bracket being very snug as earlier reviews I had read even said. The leg brackets using 4x4x8's they went on very smoothly with very minimal issues. Personally, my biggest issue was standing it up after assembling it, all in all took me roughly 5hrs due to having to stop and chase kids, But all in all well worth the $120 and would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Well done 5 stars

No signs of rust after a year outside.
