Failure To Launch (BD) Matthew McConaughey is Tripp, a 35 year-old who still lives with his par ents. And who can blame him? It’s free, he’s got a great ro om, and mom (Kathy Bates) does the laundry. A hilarious, heartwarming movie!
This movie is one we enjoy watching again and again. Matthew McConaughey is fabulous in the lead role and shows great emotional depth. And though I’m not usually a fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, this is one movie where I am able to appreciate her ability to provide an exceptional performance. As always, SJP is a delight.
I love SJP to the moon and I'll see anything she's in. I liked this film, I liked the characters (great cast) and the plot. It took me away from the political nightmare of right now. But, SJP's scream is intolerable. It's ear-splitting and very, very unpleasant. How has no one taught her to modify that horrible sound?

Trailer didn't do it justice
Okay as many of you also saw...the commercials didn't really show this movie at its best light. I would have never gone to see this movie because of the trailer. BUT I just happened to catch it on TV the other night and DAMN it was awesome. Of course all romantic comedies are slightly cheesy but beyond that this was one of the funniest movies I've seen. I was surprised how well Sarah Parker and Matthew M. got along. Their chemistry was awesome. Zooey was awesome as always, and Matthew M.'s sidekicks in the film are hilarious too. So many memorable moments that I kept posting them to Facebook lol. I mean come on lol Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw are the guy's parents lol!!! Wait till you see the naked room lol hahahaha. It was so great. Quirky, sweet, inventive and the animals are hilarious lol. I purchased the dvd so I could watch it over and over. Great movie for when there is nothing else on tv or just for the heck of it.

両親と同居ですが何か？と言う映画かな
2005～2006年頃のアメリカでは、「30代で両親と同居していることは普通では無い」という社会だったと言うことを、この映画を見て初めて知りました。日本ではそんなことは普通ですから、そのことにビックリしました。 内容はラブコメですので、最初から最後まで声を上げて笑いながら見ることができて、本当に楽しい映画でしたので、このDVDを購入して後悔は無かったです。大好きなブラッドリー・クーパーも、主役では無いですが主人公の親友役で出てましたので、本当に買って良かったです。

Terrific movie and very funny.
All I can say about the movie "Failure to Launch' is that if you haven't seen it then you have missed an excelleny film. Buy it or borrow it and you will not be disappointed.
