Here is Thymine (half rung) and part of the DNA backbone built from these. I agree with the other comments, box could use a latch of sorts, but the suggestions of elastic bands or gallon ziplocks (or both) are great suggestions. I found the quality great. The bonds work reliably, hold well and aren't loose or too difficult. As soon as I got it, I made benzene (with double bonds alternating), N2 (triple bond) and a whole host of other things including nitric and sulfuric acids. I'm seriously considering getting more kits.

Love it. Very helpful to use for visualizing isomers etc.—was allowed to use during my OCHEM exams. Do not buy if you need to make more than 1 or 2 molecules. You can make a disaccharide but nothing super big—mostly used for configuration visulization and molecular geometry.

This is super helpful if your in o-chem or even gen-chem. I would recommend getting on with a few more connectors and molecule options. But great quality!

As a biochemistry major, this kit has everything you'll need! I would recommend this for organic chemistry especially when learning Newman Projections. It offers a lot of educational value, is easy to use and assemble, and functions well for its purpose.

Used this for a blind student it made it so much easier for her to get what the class was talking about. It was easy to put together and I loved the colors.

These are a great study tool for organic chemistry. Allows you to see thing in 3-D compared to the 2-D questions that you are asked

This is a great product, people in my inorganic class always wanted to borrow it when working on symmetry and point groups I only have one issue with the container... there is not a mechanism to keep it closed! I keep the box in a gallon sized zip lock bag.

I purchased this for my daughter who is a bio-chem major. She used this a lot in her first year of college. Great purchase. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the storage container. It doesn't stay closed very well and if your not careful you'll be picking up all those little pieces. It would be better with a lid that has a latch.

Got me through my second year organic chemistry class in university. However, by the end of the semester, some of the pieces became so loose to the point where the model was falling apart as you were building it. Not enough carbons provided in my opnion.
