Painting Handle - Black

This thing is great. It fits my hand well and is comfortable for long painting sessions. I'm 6ft and have medium large hands. It comes with some tack that is pretty good. The part where you put the model onto rotates very smoothly. Being able to rest my painting hand on the curved part that extends out of the handle has made painting way more comfortable And it mAkes doing precise stuff way easier. No more shaking. Eyes are way easier

I've used multiple methods for holding a mini while painting. This is the best I've used. Some times getting small feet to stick (see picture) can be rough. But after a couple attempts they hold and it works great! It's plastic and doesn't feel extremely solid. Though that's no deterrent. The curved 'hook' for steadying your hand is removable for larger minis. The base rotates 360 degrees, which I took to immediately and love. In the short time I've owned this product I've painted dozens of minis on it of varying sizes. Worth every penny spent!

The side handle had absolutely no use, I ended up throwing it away. While the putty was great in the beginning it kept falling off with use and does require you to buy more putty to continue use. I attached magnets to the bases and the addition of several of their bases made magnetizing easy. For a paint handle it’s exactly what you pay for. Also comes with random 25mm and 32mm bases so that’s a plus

I like how smoothly the knob turns. Even metal miniatures stick nicely with the provided sticky tack. I wish it would have come with a few more of the textured knobs so that I could do 5 or 6 models at a time. The handle feels a little light and could tip over easily, but I solved this by using leftover (old) paintbrush handles to hold the models that I am not currently working on. (See in background of my photo). If the manufacturer is looking for suggestions for improvement, they could include some properly sized wooden rods with the miniature holder to allow for a similar "hot-swap" setup. I also disassembled the handle and filled it with steel BB's and Play-Doh to give the handle some substantial hefty and prevent it from tipping over easily.

Works great now that I’m used to it. Grip is a little quirky but it us effective.

Feels very cheap in quality. BUT it has one job and it is very effective. “Hook” on the side of it works well to help stabilize your painting hand. Comfortable to hold, but I have small hands, photo for reference. Comes with a bunch of different bases to attach different sized models. Magnetic weight inside of handle was rattling around inside out of the box. Stuck a piece of poster tac inside and put it back together solved it. I think 4 stars is worthy for the tool for the job.

It’s an ok hobby holder. The top rotating platform was never really secure in its base and would slip off dropping the model mid paint session. I tried it w different tops that came with the purchase. The museum putty did not allow for a hold unless I had a ton and wrapped it around the platform and model base. The hand guard won’t allow for full rotation on some models that have a weapon and you will have to reverse the rotation the other way to try and get to the area you are working on. I now just use it to have a lump of tack on it and place heads, weapons or holsters to assist w their painting. A pharmacy medication bottle w a rock in it will give you the same assurance this promises w out having you spend money. I buy nitrile gloves and have been holding my models by hand since I bought this…

I'm going to start with the exact opposite opinion of one of the negative reviews on here. Yes, this uses a rotary switch and standard knobs for the rotating surface, and it's a brilliant idea. There's just enough resistance when turning to make it easy to rotate with your fingertips, but it doesn't move at all on its own. Being a standard musical component the rotary control has no slop, and it's going to be designed to last for years. This was one of the reasons I selected this painting handle as I think that's going to make it far more reliable. The handle itself is a little light, but I'm willing to forgive that when everything else is so good. Discovering it had a magnetic base was also an unexpected bonus as I use a flat 1mm sheet of steel to protect the top of my workbench. And the eight included bases mean I can set several models up for painting and switch them out easily without smudging the paint.

Der Griff für die Finger lässt sich bei mir nicht befestigen. Vielleicht stelle ich mich auch zu blöd an. Unabhängig davon ist unter dem Griff für die meisten Figuren die ich habe, unzureichend Platz. Aber da der Griff meiner Meinung nach eh im Weg wäre und einige Winkel beim Bemalen blockiert, hätte ich ihn ohnehin nicht angebracht. Davon abgesehen ist es ein sehr gutes Produkt! Da ich den Griff eh nicht benutzt hätte, verdient es die fünf Sterne.

I'm really happy with this paint handle. I know I could've just used corks, or dowel, or whatever, but I find the flexibility of this particular item to be more than worth the cost. I'm so happy with it, in fact, that I've just ordered another one, so I can work on more minis at once.
