Great holder for my flag
I bought this to put my flag in it, and it is perfect. We've had some windy days here in Florida and this thing doesn't even think about tipping over. It is very sturdy. Super easy to put the flag into it.

Umbrella stand for patio.
Not that difficult to assemble. Looks nice on patio. Seems to be stable enough.

Not sturdy enough
I use this stand for my free standing deck 9’ deck umbrella. It arrived in a box that had been opened and taped closed again. There is a chip in the top but not obvious enough to bother with a return. It is not as stable as I would expect. The holder needs to be retighten after a bit to hold the umbrella steady. With a slight wind it has tipped over. Probably needed the 50 lb but it was too big and heavy for me to move around.

So far so good
Ok. I admit I just got this today. The umbrella that I bought was supposed to come today but now it’s gonna come tomorrow so I haven’t hooked up the umbrella to the stand yet but so far I’m very impressed. It’s really and it seems very sturdy. Update my review when I get the umbrella but at this point I would recommend it. It came packed very well very easy to put together and I think I could say that because I’m still healing from a broken leg and I was able to put it together myself.

Good for lighter umbrella.
I'm used to the base with cement in it so this is a little bit lighter than that was but that froze a few times and cracked on me so I had to throw it away the umbrella that the cement mom was holding got beat up and thrown away as well so I had bought a new umbrella and this new base to go with it I'm happy with it it could use 5 or 10 more pounds but really in light breezes it holds the umbrella I purchased just fine.

NOT heavy duty!
This item arrived BROKEN COMPLETELY IN HALF. Despite the fact that it is listed as “heavy duty” it couldn’t even withstand being shipped to our home. My husband pored over several different stands before choosing this one, specifically because it looked the sturdiest. Buyer beware.

Better than expected
Very nice look antiqued bronze umbrella base. Very heavy, will take a lot to blow over. Tightens up very well on pole show umbrella should not turn when open. Would bye again!
