T149-50 Ski Vise With 50mm Wide Jaws | Durable Adjustable Clamps For Waxing And Tuning Alpine & Downhill Skis

When the ski season started, I used clamps for woodwork in my basement during my ritual ski waxing work. And I needed a more solid one, so I purchased it. It's a heavy-duty product, and the design might not be changed for 10x years, but it seems like it won't go anywhere. Simple setup and solid parts that it doesn't seem like it'd break next decades. It worked very well. Unlike the clamp I used, it didn't block anything when I smoothed wax on the ski. If I had purchased it earlier, waxing skis would've been much more manageable and enjoyable! I regretted it a bit as I purchased it this season!

The ski vise is easy to use and is made with good quality. With metal construction and rubber ended clamps, I expect the vise will be durable and last many years.

Wish it was a bit wider but just holds up to my 204 width skis.

After many,many,years of skiing this is one of best investments that I have made no doubt! The cost,quality,and the build are nice.the only one thing that I’m not fond of is that couple of the round rubber parts fall out when put the ski on it’s side they fall out when I loosen them back up.I definitely don’t over tighten the grip I just tighten them snug enough to hold the ski in place.It just could be a small defect but I do worry about loosing those rubber pieces.especially after the first time I used the vise and I have only used it 2 times.

I'd been using a homemade ski tuning stand for years and it finally broke. I bought these tuning stands and am very impressed. Sturdy, solid, holds the ski tight, and is easy to take on / off the workbench. I should have spent the $ years ago. Tuning and waxing goes much faster allowing me to spend more time on the slopes.

Buon prodotto. Lo uso da anni in modo frequente sia su sci da pista che da sci alpinismo. Dotandosi di elastici per gli ski stop e supporti per rialzare le due "torrette" laterali per farci entrare gli attacchi si possono lavorare sci anche con spatole assai larghe (i miei più larghi sono 104mm sotto pianta). Sulla morza vanno rinforzate le due striscioline di gomma per evitare che con il tempo si tolgano.

スキーのチューンナップを行うならこれがベストチョイスだと思います。ワイドなパウダー板はスキー板自体をセンターバイスで挟めない場合がありますが、ビディングにベースがあるタイプなら両サイドを少し持ち上げることでビンディングのベース部分を挟めるのでワックスがけ可能です。これまでは簡易ワックス台で頑張ってきましたが、こちらのバイスと「ソーホース」を組み合わせた環境に移行して効率がとても上がりました。

Very solid and secure. Multiple adjustments ame the whole unit very adaptable. It will provide for multi generations of ski maintenance both nordic and alpine.
