I'm guessing it's a decimal issue because it weighs about .8 lbs. I would guess. This is ,like you say, A 1 oz. bottle Of fragrance

How long dose the smell last ?

Depends on you. For my husband, the smell stay for the whole day and in his cloth until I wash. For same people stay longer than other.
