Question 1

What is the difference between this and the Sweet Chili sauce?

Accepted Answer

The G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Chili sauce is a traditional sauce that's like a sweet and sour sauce, with a spicy kick. Given it's sugar free, it's not as sweet as traditional sauces. It has 5 calories, 0g fat, 2g carbs

The G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce has a larger Asian flavor profile with sriracha, tamari soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. It's also a tad spicier than the Sweet Chili sauce. It has 5 calories, 0g fat, 1g carbs. It's part of a new exciting product line launched from G Hughes.

Both are sugar free, low carb, Keto friendly, low calories, gluten free, and go well with anything. Great as dipping sauces, topping sauce, and marinade. Loyalists love the Sweet Chili on eggs, nachos, tacos, stir frys, chicken, etc. Thai Chili goes well with egg rolls, wings, pizza. If you're in the mood for more Asian flavours, go for Thai Chili. If you're looking for a sauce that has a general flavor profile, Sweet Chili works well.

Yumm! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :)

Question 2

Does it have msg ?

Accepted Answer

The ingredient list does not specifically list msg, but it does list hydrolyzed soy and corn protein and also the catch-all “natural flavoring.” Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein might include some msg.

Question 3

Shelf life

Accepted Answer

It looks to be about 15 months from date of manufacture based upon when I got my last shipment and the expiration date on the product.

Question 4

I don’t see a “best by” date anywhere on the bottle. What’s the shelf life of an unopened bottle? And the expiration once opened and refrigerated?

Accepted Answer

The ink can sometimes be very light. All bottles are labeled with a best by date in a XX/XX/XX print style. Products have a 24 month shelf life unopened--opened it depends on how much you use and what temperature you store it at. I personally have a bottle dated Best Buy 12/22/22 in my fridge that has been open for over a month and product quality has not fallen off one bit.
