ASPEN Lumbar Support Back Brace, Patented Pulley System with Targeted Compression, Pain Relief for Men & Women, Extra-Large 41"-48"

I have spondylolisthesis and arthritis in my lumbar spine. Severe pain on a daily basis (some days worse than others). I wear this when I need to lift grandbabies, do physical labor (clean the house), or go walking. It helps to support my back and deter the pain for the time that I am wearing it. The difference in the non-elasticity is helping so much more than the other elasticized belts I've worn in the past. It is not at all bulky (cannot really be seen under a shirt) or uncomfortable (for the most part). By experience, you should wear it directly on the skin. I tried putting it over a t-shirt, and the belt will not stay in place. Next to your skin, it stays in place pretty well. It is good for women with a smaller waist than hips, because you can situate it on your waist and hips to be smaller at the top, unlike other belts I've used in the past. The only issue I have is that it curls or creases where it sits on my low torso (bending over or sitting causes it). So, it is permanently out of shape in that regard. It still does the job though. The price is so good, I will plan on buying one each year.

I love how easy it is to adjust thruout the day. A little pull of the cord and you're good to go! And, to keep from using it constantly, which can be unhealthy, I release the cords and let my back do the work for a while. This has helped my sciatica, pelvic misalignment, and si joint symptoms (ie, loads of back pain). This brand was loaned to me by chiroractor, had to get one for keeps. It feels durable, the strings feel like they'll last a while. But, I will say the older one I borrowed felt a bit used....still worked its wonders and my guess is that one had some miles on it. Never worn a brace like this before and have no issues hiding under clothes.

Easy to use and it really helped my lower back! I definitely recommend getting if you have lower back problems.

Game changer!

I bought two braces. Each from Different vendors. The pro came new with no issues. This one came in an open package and obviously used. I replaced it making clear the reason I was replacing it was that it was used. The replacement came in a couple of days later, and was also used and box opened.. I needed the belt so kept it and I used it over a Tshirt. the belt itself is useful and not too bulky so I can use it under clothes. I did not been for the fact that both belts were obviously used returns I would have given it 5 stars. Not sure if the vendor specializes in reselling opened box items/returns.

Brace was as expected and good quality.

I chose Aspen because 4 years ago I had back surgery and my Orthopedic practice that did my surgery gave me an Aspen Lumbar Thoracic brace that helped me a lot. It is a name I can trust and recommend!
