I have purchased 4 of these, one is still on my neighbors roof, one is lost in the garage shuffle, and the two new ones that I just got haven't even been opened. My dog loves to fetch things and the rope toys last a lot longer than frisbees. This rope toy is the best one I have used, it just flies across the yard with little effort. I threw it over the fence and onto the neighbors roof, I threw it over the fence and across the street into the neighbors ditch, and I threw it into a tree and spent an afternoon with a telescoping pole taped to a broom to knock it loose. I guess you could say this toy is exercise for me and my dog, as I seem to be fetching this toy too. This is a toy for fetching and not made for chewing, so I wouldn't purchase this for any other reason. My dad's dog is a great dane/mastiff who likes to chew. I watched her drag a tree branch over and listened to her snap the limbs off bit by bit. She got ahold of this rope toy and chewed the knot off. If they chew the knot off, the toy is still usable because you can tie the end back into a knot, you will just have to keep checking that the knot is still tight every once in awhile.

Worth every penny! Great training tools! This one was a tad big for my female, so my male uses it, I got 2 more smaller ones & they’re perfect for our girl! Very tough & well built!

I have a hybrid MalinoisXGSD dog and this is by far her favorite toy. I started with this at about 6 months of age and she looks forward to her daily playtime. It is durable, I play some tug of war with it and is holding up really well to her teeth. The string is coated at the ends (it just started to peel but very slightly). She can pull on the ball and the string has handled a lot of that. You can throw this thing over 100 feet out due to the nice balanced weight of the ball. Note: I do not let her keep the toy to chew/bite on at her leisure. It comes out only when it's time to play. It helps to reinforce training commands and by doing so, she gets to fetch and pull on it as her reward. She's a year now and I'm sure I'll easily get another 6 months of daily use. Again, I have a hard-biting, sharp toothed large breed dog and this product is holding up to what it was intended for.

This toy is next level. My German Shepherd is obsessed—but it’s not just for play. He’s my service dog, and when this toy comes out, he knows it’s time to work. He uses it to walk me around on our outings! It’s become a signal for him that we’re in “go mode.” We use it for everything: tug, fetch, and even just as a solid chew. It’s incredibly durable—most toys don’t last a day with him, but this one is still going strong. It’s also perfect for training rewards, and he brings it to me like, “Let’s GO!” every time we head out. Seriously, can’t recommend it enough if your dog works hard and plays hard too!

Love this for my K9. The rope doesn’t last for a rough chewer but the ball is the best!

Best tug ball I’ve had. I tried the Cherry Bomb from SodaPup which are nice but this one lasts longer. All tug balls have the same problem. Knots come un-tied after extensive use. That just comes with the territory, big deal. The original knots on these K-9 Ops have lasted the longest before having to re-tie them. Toys and tugs are an expendable item. These dogs destroy everything eventually. This one has lasted about 6 months so far. This review is coming from a real life K-9 handler.
