Perfect for taking content while shooting. Very to use and really sturdy. However this is my second one. Dropped it once and didn’t work the same so for the price it’s good

I'm using this along with an aluminium c-clamp and a 1/4 male-male connector to hold and securely mount a gps in a rental car. This is working great. I don't like using my phone and data ($) for directions, and too much ($) to rent gps with a car, so I bring my GPS. But wanted a flexible, compact, secure/solid mounting mechanism, and have tried other methods, but this seems to be a good method for gps or phone, and has ability to adjust and tighten in various configurations, and is working well, and not much space to pack, and inexpensive.

This is a nice tripod mount holder for phone. It durably constructed of sturdy plastic. It holds the phone securely. There is a button that opens the mount for adjusting to the right size. It’s very easy to use. It rotates for different angles. It works perfectly with a tripod that has a 1/4 inch screw. It’s great quality and a great value. Just as described and just what I was looking for!

It just allowed me to have better movement with my camera angels. Sometimes it’s hard to adjust and my phone will fall. You have to put attention to it that is why I remove one star. But overall seems good. I haven’t tried the magnets for my phone, I feel like that might help with the sticking the phone to the tripod without having to be very intentional.

So, I received this mount today. I had originally intended to use my phone as a monitor for my camera, and I bought this so that I could also have a cold shoe on either side: one for my light and one for my mic. Hone I revived this, the first thing I noticed was the build quality. It was a bit more flimsy and cheap than I had expected. However, the size was fairly compact. The grip that holds you phone isn't a stretch tight, you have to manually press a button for it to clamp your phone, and often times it can be a bit light, and there is a small possibility that your phone can fall out. most times when you use your phone as an external montitor you use it horizontally. When you flip the mount, however, it become vertical, which only allows you to use one cold shoe! Just a minor gripe. However, I feel like the mount could be slightly cheaper for the value for money and the minor flaws. However, this is great if you are mainly doing vertical content!
