Absolutely exquisite folio, the craftsmanship is gorgeous. I really splurged on this one hoping for a folio that would travel well- I’m pleased to say it’s light, luxury, and stunning handcrafted workmanship. The pen is also high quality and heavy- I plan to gift it to my son. This folio is a perfect gift for man or woman and comes beautifully packaged. When I opened the box I got to read about the company and they ethically source their leather, and donate 5% of their profit to charity on 5 continents. This kind of craftsmanship and care is rare in our world and I’ve already saved a wallet and a journal from them for gifts. The leather is high quality, suede-like without looking rustic. I’m a writer and hard on my folios- the stitching looks solid and like we’ll have years together. If this was in a Sundance catalogue it would be $300. This is one purchase you’ll be thrilled you made.

Exactly what I hoped to get. It ships inside of cloth bag. There's great smell of leather, and all I needed was a simple container for some documents I need to store, inside of their own colored folders. Good quality, sturdy, just snaps to close it (there is no fancy lock for it). Great value for the money. Distressed leather, to some effect, but that would come with the territory. One could fancy it up some, if so desired, but I like the rustic look. Inside there is just one open space, no separate pockets. Simplicity. It serves my purpose exactly.

Well made. This portfolio has plenty of space for paper and pens. It is a very distressed leather look. Very professional. Shipped quickly nicely packaged. Great seller. Highly recommend these!

Perfect layout. Nice, simple, slim, low profile . Appreciate the two pen holders. Color is a bit lighter than expected - more tan than brown. The “leather” is best described as nubuck or a tight knap suede. Suspect this finish/texture may not age/patina like a smooth/traditional or full grain leather. Wear and burnishing may not occur here as charm/character, but rather dirt scuffs and oily hand smudges.This is getting constant all-day use in variable environments/settings. Ironically, raindrops have not left any prints behind. Forced to use it as a makeshift umbrella in a heavy downpour. It did not repel/bead away the rain. It soaked right in. Thoroughly amazed how it dried immediately as if nothing ever happened. This is classier than a $15 “pleather” folder, but definitely not a $150 + full grain leather “board room” appropriate alternative. I assure you that no buffaloes were harmed in the making of this portfolio. It’s real leather, but “buffalo” should be used as an adjective only.

Yes, it may be a simple product, but this is hands down, one of the top five, highest quality items, I've EVER received from an Amazon purchase..... and my wife has been getting between 5 and 15 Amazon packages delivered a WEEK!....... for every bit of the last SEVEN YEARS!!!! It definitely is THICK, DURABLE leather. It does distress easily, but I like that kind of thing. I don't really use it as a laptop case. I use it to protect expensive, high quality stationary, in which I carry in a messenger bag to and from my three different offices. Although sometimes I will put my laptop or tablet in it. The only caveat is that you should not expect to purchase this, as a laptop case, with the expectations of receiving a laptop case with the protection properties of a heavily padded laptop case or a hard plastic Pelican case. You SHOULD NOT purchase this, as a laptop case, thinking that you're going to get hard drop or heavy weight protection from it. It will provide superficial surface and scratch protection. If you do, that's really not really a fault of the product as it is of your expectations. You're not going to be able to drive an SUV over it and come out with an unscathed electronic device. After all, it is just leather. If you buy a base model Honda Civic you should be well aware that you're not getting Chevy Suburban and if you do, it's not the Honda's fault..... IT'S YOURS!!! It's a single pocket bag. There's no mouse, charger, or accessories pocket...... BUT THAT'S IN THE DESCRIPTION AND PRETTY OBVIOUS! Again....not a fault of the product. That being said, the leather is thick enough and durable enough to protect the corners and edges of expensive Rhodia and Clairefontaine notebooks and tablets. Basically, it maintains its overall rectangular shape without the corners of it crushing in too much. Again this is relative. It is still just leather. It's just not cheap, floppy, super thin, and incredibly flexible leather as compared to say a soft leather jacket.BOTTOM LINE: As advertised, for it's intended and advertised purpose, as well as the purpose for which I use it, IT GREATLY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS AND IS WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE THE PRICE!!!!!

I ordered the brown leather portfolio to use as a case for my Kindle Scribe, with pockets for business cards and full letter size paper, so I can have a single item to carry around in business settings to take notes and carry content for networking. It's working quite well for that purpose.The leather is thick, high quality, with a rustic natural leather look and feel. That's what I was going for. There are some scuff marks, so it looks like every other real natural leather item I own.I already had a Fintie Slim Case for Kindle Scribe - [Built-in Pen Holder] Lightweight PU Leather Folio Cover, which was too small to carry around papers and my Kindle Scribe together. So I repurposed it within this leather portfolio. I cut of the front cover of the Fintie Slim Case, and mounted the back with pen holder to the inside of this leather portfolio.I used 3M VHB tape to mount the case. Then I found the small magnet in the Fintie front cover, and ripped it out. I used the tape to mount the magnet to the right place for the auto-off feature to work for my new setup.

This has to be the absolute best portfolio I have ever owned! The genuine leather has a nice texture to it and is perfectly oiled. There was a very small amount of oil transfer to the insert that it was shipped with, but I haven't experienced any transfer to my documents since then. It has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy or bulky and offers the perfect amount of storage for a padfolio. I love that it has two pen holders in the spine instead of having one on the outside. All of the stitching seems to be of very high quality. For the money, this is a great value for a high quality padfolio that has a unique appearance and great craftsmanship!

I like leather things, and what would normally be a cardboard organizer folder is replaced by this simple, wonderfully robust leather one. It's not fancy, or particularly pretty, but it serves its purpose and keeps documents and the paraphernalia associated with them, safely from lose or damage. It also looks good and is more professional.The leather folder is made well and is large enough to accommodate standard A4 documentation, a similar sized tablet or small laptop, with ample room for pens, pencils and the odd choccy bar.

This was a gift for my wife who does public speaking and needed something professional looking to keep her notes in. The leather and construction seems to be of a very high quality. It looks and feels rich. I would highly recommend this product.
