This is a cute little tea set. It's perfect for older children and teens. It was for our granddaughter's 12th birthday. The design is beautiful and it's very nice quality! She's super happy!

I bought 5 of these for gifts and they are such beautiful sets. I was a bit concerned of how the ceramics going to handle during transport but thank God, none of it was broken. They were perfect for gifting.

Tea set looks nice and does it job. The tray mine came with had some damage, a crack in the middle as though something was going to punch through it. They did get in contact with me about sending a new tray but haven't heard anything for weeks after confirming they would send it. I don't blame them since it's probably too costly to send just that tray. Update: They sent me a whole new tea set to replace just the tray that was damaged. Their customer service takes things seriously! All I can say is thank you.

Exactly what was advertised and the set looks amazing. Easy to setup out of the box and the serving size is perfect.

I love teapots and have a small collection of them that I display as well as use for tea and cocoa. When I saw this little set, I had to add it to my collection. The color is very pretty, the ribbing gives it an interesting look and the whole set on the tray is adorable. The little cups are tiny and have no handles, Japanese style. The teapot doesn't look very big, but it can actually hold enough beverage to fill all six little cups. The handle is solid and reliable, but you do need to attach it yourself when your set arrives. I don't like how loose the lid on the teapot is. It doesn't seat at all, and doesn't have that little tab on the inside rim that a lot of teapots have to prevent the lid from falling off when you are pouring. So you do need to keep a finger on the lid when you pour. I took off one star for the badly fitting/designed lid. Other than that, its a cute little set.

Color is very nice, looks modern and elegant. One of our tea cups had a minor chip on the bottom; the company was very responsive and refunded some of the cost for the issue. There is a filter that comes with the teapot - very convenient if you don't want leaves. The spout is short so you need to pour quickly and smoothly at the right angle to avoid leakage. Overall, this is a set worth its price.

I just received my Japanese tea set order, and I’m very disappointed with its condition. The box arrived ripped and taped back together, and one of the items inside had a hair wrapped around it. The lid of the teapot also has visible marks, which makes it look used. I ordered this item as new not used or returned and wanted to offer as a gift.
