Love this infuser. I use it for brewing kombucha, perfect size for steeping tea for my 1.5 gallon batches. Lid is sturdy and stays on, no issues.

I use this infuser for teas, soups, and broths, and it has become an essential kitchen tool. Its flexibility and sturdiness hold up beautifully in the dishwasher. The only mishap I encountered—my own fault—was when the chain slipped off the lid during a wash because I was careless while loading the dishwasher. Fortunately, it wasn’t broken—just unhooked from the lid's loop. I easily reattached it and now make sure to keep the chain inside the silverware caddy. Straining large quantities of tea leaves and spices once felt like a chore, but has become a delightful experience. I’m truly glad I treated myself to this purchase!

Life saver! Literally as tea bags are toxic! We use less tea now to make 3 gallons in a 8 quart pot. Do not fill tea leaves as it needs air movement to flow correctly so about 2/3 is all you need!

I ordered this tea infuser rather on a whim. I was looking for a single cup infuser, as I rarely make an entire pot of tea. This wasn't expensive, so I was unsure what I'd get. When I opened the box, I was amazed at how fine the mesh was on this infuser. It definitely won't let tea sleeves leak out. I tried it out, and it worked amazingly. I have two caveats for anyone who makes this purchase. Probably because of the machining oil used in manufacture, this infuser had a strong chemical smell. I washed mine with dish soap, but I wish I'd run it through the dishwasher. As well, make sure you measure your teapot opening and the center height of your teapot. It fits my Johnson Bros Blue Willow ok, but is almost taller than needed. Overall I'd give it 4 stars.

This works fantastic. I use this to hold all my herbs I used to fish out of my soups/stews since I rarely have cheese cloth on hand. This is made from stainless steel and washes easily. Love, love this addition to my kitchen, especially now during soup season.

excellent for my kettle, the coffee thing spilled grounds in the kettle so i took it out and got this one it twists closed and it works great i pop it in and turn on my kettle and i lift it out when its ready! it works great! super cheap, works amazing.

This is great for sun, tea! I have flavored loose tea and I go through a lot during the summer so I wanted one that would fit a 1 gallon sun jar. This one works perfect. It fits in the refrigerator with the spout. You don’t have to take it out every time you need tea. I love it!

This large infuser has a fine mesh that keeps all but the finest particles inside. You’d have to use a tightly woven bag to prevent any tea or spices at all from settling out, but this does a fine job on its own. The stainless material means it won’t rust. I use this to make sun tea in a gallon jar. I’d give this infuser 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fit of the lid. You have to carefully line up the threads to screw the top on and this still requires several attempts if it’s to be seated correctly. The material is thin and flexible, so If you try to tighten the lid at all, and I mean this quite literally, the threads pop out of alignment and you have to carefully start again. Because you can’t tighten it well, bits of material that won’t fit through the mesh are able to float up and through the lid threads when the infuser is completely immersed. I’m concerned that one time when I’m lifting the infuser with its soaked contents out of the container, the lid is going to pop off and spill the contents back into the container. I’ve seen similar large infusers with locking clamps on the lid, but the reviews mostly say these are also cheaply constructed. I realize that this being a product made in China I shouldn’t expect high quality, but it’s still unfortunate that a higher quality product can’t be found on the market. When this falls apart, which it no doubt will when the chain eventually falls off or the lid won’t stay on, I suppose I’ll make my own fabric steeping bags if a better product hasn’t made it to market by then.

Perfect for making large batches of chai.

Works great as a nut/coconut milk filter. Just immersion blend with hot water, and then strain through this to filter. As a micropore filter that is flat stainless steel with holes in it, it's very easy to clean unlike the cross-hatched wire mesh filters which get gunked up with oils between the mesh strands where you can't scrub. I would only caution, if you're going to press down on the contents, make sure theres support for the bottom of the strainer so the seam around the bottom edge doesn't pop loose over time.

Large infuser. I do very large cooking projects so this worked extremely well for larger amounts of spices required for large pickling and canning projects.

As advertised. The fine holes mean that I have to leave it in the kettle for a little longer for it to infuse into the tea I make vs leaving the leaves loose. But cleanup of the kettle is easier.
