The part connecting the neck to the body was broken, and there were more than a few cracks in the wood. Review: very surprised - Really quite surprised! The neck set is right and the neck straight, frets not bad, very playable. Only thing I did was change the strings and the sound is not bad for plywood. A few minor finish flaws. The tuner and electronics work well. Sounds good plugged in and lots of control with the eq. For the price I'm very happy, we'll see how it holds up.
