Wrap it around the base of your own hair ponytail, and place your fingers in the middle of the wrap to pull the endpiece of the ponytail into the wrap to create a knot. 4. Press down on the bun using bobby pins into the hair to secure the bun and keep it close to the skull. 5. Put on a wig cap on your head, push all strands of your own hair on the side, the back, and front of your head, under the cap, to create a smooth surface. 6. Comb the wig gently, pull the adjustable straps to accommodate your head snugly inside the wig. 7. Hold the top and bottom part of the wig and pull it from the front of the head, then pull it back gently, adjust the wig to cover the cap and to fit perfectly around your head. How to clean a wig: 1. Place the wig on the head mannequin or hair hanger and brush the hair. Gently remove tangles using a wide tooth comb. 2.Fill a sink with cold water and add 1 tbsp. of wig mild shampoo. Submerge the wig and agitate for about two minutes. Do not rub the wig or use hot water, this can cause hair to fall out. 3. Rinse the wig thoroughly under the faucet with cold water. After all of the soap is out, gently towel dry and place the wig on the top of a can of hair spray to dry. Do not brush when wet; allow wig to drip dry. 4. Place the wig on the head mannequin after it has dried completely. Spray a small amount of synthetic wig conditioning spray on the wig and brush the hair.
