We ordered this beautiful Bible cover because of its colors. It's absolutely gorgeous. HOWEVER, the size description does not match with reality. I specifically ordered a Bible that had dimensions to match the dimensions of this cover - but sadly, it's just too tight - to the point that I will either damage the Bible inside or break the zipper trying to close it. The width and length seem okay, but the depth/thickness does NOT accommodate a 1 1/8" Bible. There barely seems to be any depth built into it at all. I am so sad to return it, but the Bible is hands down more important than what covers it. If you want this cover, make sure you buy a THIN Bible. I would say definitely less than an inch thick.

Will fit a thin bible. It doesn't zip up for my daughters adventure bible but she still loves the colors! Very pretty and durable.
