How many times can you download it? For example what if I change computers?

You can deactivate the software and move it to another computer at any point. We have a lot of this information on our site.

Can you download digitally even if you buy this cd set because my computer disc tray is broke?

Yes. You can always download the latest version of the software on our site. The license, though, is contained in the box. So you must wait for that to be able to activate the software.

Why is this more than $100 over the manufacturer price?

It is not. It is exactly the manufacturer's price. Perhaps you saw the student version price somewhere?

Is this subscription based?

No. You are buying a license for all 4.x.x versions of the software.
