Hologram tends to burn in printer
Generally, these are good checks. But the hologram on them is going to be a useless feature. In our office we operate 3 different models of Brother printer. All 3 printers tend to burn and damage the hologram material on these checks to some degree. Apparently, the hologram material is so thin it tends to be very susceptible to any minor heat generated from a standard laser printer. Keep in mind that paper itself can burn rather easily. However, none of our printers have ever seared any type of paper they are loaded with (even with jams). Only these holograms have ever presented an issue.
