Description says its not compatible with 512gb steam deck - why?

This screen protector was recommended for use with the other models because the adhesive was designed for use with a flat, non-etched screen. However, many customers have purchased this screen protector for the 512GB model and reported perfect fit and adhesion. Feel free to give it a try and reach out to us if you have any issues.

Is this the edge-to-edge, whole screen variant?

Yes, all inventory has been updated for edge-to-edge fit.

How does this interact with the 512gb steam deck screen? people seem to be mixed on whether the added blur is a lot or minimal. do you recommend this?

It depends on personal preference and which particular programs you're running on your device. Some users find that the matte screen protector adds an anti-aliasing effect. For games that include small text, you might find that the added blur seems more significant.
