It's so frustrating with bedding sometimes when it promises to fit and you buy it only to find that it either doesn't fit at all or requires two people pulling with all their strength on opposite corners at the same time to get it to stay put. It is so common now that I almost expect bedding not to fit anymore. We recently bought a very large Simmons Beauty Rest King size mattress and needed new bedding for it. Bedding starts with a mattress protector. As everyone who owns a king size bed knows, bedding is EXPENSIVE! You end up paying nearly half the price of the mattress itself to cover it, so I really didn't want to break the bank on stuff like a mattress protector, but I also wanted something that would protect our investment as well! I went to Bed Bath and Beyond first and my heart sank when I saw how much it would cost for even their cheapest vinyl cover, which is basically a fitted shower curtain and nothing more. I ended up buying one of those for my sons new full size bed and decided to try this one for our king size since it was about the same price as the cheapest option from BB&B. I'm SOOO glad I did!For starters, the cheap shower curtain one I bought for my sons bed DID NOT FIT AT ALL and ripped a hole in the side as I was trying to stretch it into place! What a waste! When this one arrived, I was THRILLED to find that not only does it fit our huge mattress PERFECTLY but that it didn't require any acrobatics or grunting to put on! It feels very soft and quality and I don't even notice it's there, which is exactly what you want from a mattress protector! I can literally sleep well at night knowing that our mattress is protected! I highly recommend this if you want a quality product that won't break the bank!

Item states it is waterproof! Leaked through with a small spill!! Very disappointed!

Everything ad expected!

Even though this is waterproof, it surprised me how well it let air circulate underneath me. I used to get sweaty & sticky a little sometimes but when I wake up the sheets are dry and cool. Really pleased with it since the previous waterproof covers I've used failed in that respect. It's good to get a product that lives up to the manufacturer's claims 100%.

Difficult to dry, retains too much laundry water.

Plusses - it is breathable and very thin. Negatives - makes a slight swishing sound when shifting your weight. I would recommend this item.
