Question 1

is the bark the inner bark, outer bark or a mix? The inner bark is, from what I understand, what contains the healing properties.

Accepted Answer

I could not see any indication of source from any of the closeups of the box provided with the Amazon listing.

I went to the Traditional Medicinals website (https://shop.traditionalmedicinals.com/Pau-dArco/p/TDM-000682&c=TraditionalMedicinals@Herbal) and there they also do not give any indication of sourcing.

As of now, I suspect they use a combination of inner and outer bark BECAUSE they don't say - I believe if it were inner bark only (that's where the medicinal advantage is) they would say so, and loudly. Using the outer bark is cheaper but much less effective, and so my suspicion is that they do this but try to hide the fact.

I would love to be proven wrong on this.

Question 2

Is this only a liver cleanser? Or does it have other benefits?

Accepted Answer

Every part of the dandelion has some kind of wellness benefit, but the root is renowned for its ability to help support the liver and digestive system. The root's bitterness helps to stimulate the taste buds, setting off production of digestive juices from saliva to bile. This supports the body's natural detoxification processes and helps the liver to flush wastes.*Sincerely,Traditional Medicinals

Question 3

Does this Dandelion tea have CAFFEIN in it? ty

Accepted Answer

No caffeine and I’m a coffee convert to this. It’s SO good.

Question 4

where is the tea made in ?

Accepted Answer

Reading from the box I currently have it says: ...dandelion roots are sustainably harvested from the wild meadows of Poland and Bosnia. Dug up, separated from the stems, leaves and flowers, washed and dried, the roots are then roasted whole before being cut up to be used in this tea. No definitive answer as to where made, but a little info....hope this helps.
