I’m not sure as far as my sugar levels but I will find out soon for my blood work,but I could tell you ever since I’ve been taking this. I haven’t had bad reflux where I believe it was reflex disease. I’ve been taking this and I have not had heartburn for over two months like there’s nothing else I’ve been taking but these. And I tried another brand thorn when I ran out of this and I started to fill the heartburn a little, so I ordered these and start back up. I will not go for any other kind. I don’t want to have to deal with that heartburn and I had it severe, so hopefully it would help somebody else.

UPDDATE: ** Received new batch, though I had to pay for it. Product is as it usually was -- no odor, capsules correct color. Mostly, I was just happy to be able to take it again. **Contacted seller about the order I received in November 2023. They were responsive immediately, and the first reply said they would send a new batch with no charge to me. I threw the old batch out into my green waste bin after I received that reply. Then, I received a second reply stating they wanted pictures of the capsules. I explained I had thrown the product out based on their saying they would replace the batch. So....it appears I will not receive a replacement. I just said no worries, I would wait until my next subscription date for a new batch. However, I elected to reorder in the interim, as I like the product and it helps my health. At least they responded, which I appreciate. It's not worth fighting over.

It helps me with diabetes, it lowers sugar levels considerably. But lately I think that is what has been giving me an upset stomach, (when I started to feel sick to my stomach, I looked for information and read reviews that berberine can affect the stomach) I left it for a few days and took it again, and I just start with stomach problems again (now I gave up other medicines and only take this one to try to see if I continue with stomach problems). I always have to take it (with a cookie first) about 15 minutes before dinner, I take it only once a day, but I always take care of myself at lunch. I tried many natural medicines but the one that managed to lower my sugar levels was this Berberine medication with chromium. I hope it doesn't affect my stomach so I can continue taking it, but if I confirm that this is what is doing me wrong, unfortunately I will have to stop taking it.

I was taking this for about a year. It did wonders for my cholesterol but did not know that it depleted my iron level and now l am anemic Now I have to get an iron infusion. So keep tabs on your blood work.
